Sneaker Politics is teaming up with New Balance to release a special edition Sneaker Politics x New Balance 999 “Case 999” collaboration.
This upcoming New Balance 999 has a True Detective-like theme from session one, which was based in Louisiana, same hometown of Sneaker Politics.
In the unveiled first preview image, there is the collaborative shoe hanging alongside two other stick pyramid designs with caution tape reading, ‘Crime Scene Do Not Cross.’
The shoe features a Deep Navy base upper with Brown leather detailing, Red hints and paisley print on the tongue.
While we wait for a full detail of this collaboration, we do know that the Sneaker Politics x New Balance 999 “Case 999” is set to debut on Saturday, September 26th at all Sneaker Politics locations in-store and online. The shoes will retail for $165 USD, and will be available in sizes 6 through 14.
UPDATE: Good news, the Sneaker Politics x New Balance 999 “Case 999” collaboration is going down tomorrow. Better news, they’re having a pretty dope contest for a chance to win their next collaboration later this Fall.
Details via @sneakerpolitics: When you get your pair of Politics x New Balance Case 999 shoes in, take a pic and let us know about your unsolved case. Use the hashtag #mycase999 . On October 15th we will go through all of the #mycase999 pictures and select the best 10 (could be for the great pic of the shoe or could be due to your amazing story). Those 10 winners will receive a free pair of our next shoe collaboration we are dropping later this Fall season. The 10 winners will be notified on October 15th via IG.
UPDATE: Everything pictured will be given to the first 50 Lafayette instore customers and the first 50 online customers. Every pair after that will come with crime scene box and stickers only.
Available September 25th, 2015 at 7PM CST at their Lafayette location followed by a small online release at 11PM CST. All remaining pairs will be released September 26th, 2015 at 11AM CST online at all locations.
