Pokémon x PUMA Suede “Pikachu” Continues 30th Anniversary Celebration

Published on

Pokémon’’s 30th anniversary celebration will see yet another character-inspired PUMA Suede dropping later this year, this time revolving around Pikachu. While it was announced alongside last year’s holiday drop Mewtwo Suede, the newest release maintains most of the original shoe’s design allowing the added graphics to speak for themselves.

A reflective Formstrip runs across the sides with a lightning bolt-inspired shape, giving the design its clearest Pikachu reference. The upper also comes with a custom lace charm, while “Gotta Catch ’em All!” is printed across the midsole in a spot that is far more visible than the usual hidden collaboration details.

PUMA will package the shoe in a premium collector box, continuing the presentation used for the earlier Mewtwo release. That helps separate it from a standard Suede, but the $300 price still makes this one of the more expensive versions of the model.

The Pokémon x PUMA Suede “Pikachu” will release early on July 25, 2026, from 12 PM to 8 PM ET at 101 Union Street in Brooklyn, New York. Details on a wider release have not been announced.
