Patta’s signature ripple is making its way back to the Air Max 1 with the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 Waves coming into 2026 strong. Following its dominance of the silhouette last year between 2021 and 2022, the silhouette returns in two Hyper Crimson-driven colorways for a pointed reunion with the sneaker that cemented Patta’s Nike legacy.

Both versions lean into Hyper Crimson, a shade deeply tied to Dutch football culture and national pride. One pair uses a bold crimson wave over a Pure Platinum base with a black Swoosh. The second opts for a lighter mix of white and platinum with a colorful Swoosh that softens the contrast.

The wave-shaped mudguard remains the centerpiece. That detail still separates the Patta Air Max 1 Waves from every other Air Max 1 collaboration. Compared to last year’s Air Max 90 experiment, this feels more rooted in what made the partnership special.

Each pair includes a gold bracelet featuring Nike branding and the Surinamese flag. It quietly nods to the heritage of Patta founders Edson Sabajo and Guillaume Schmidt. That personal touch continues to give the Patta Nike collaboration emotional weight.
