adidas Adds Bold Brand To These NMD R1s

adidas Originals will be introducing a pair of new adidas NMD R1 designs to kick off the month of December.

One pair comes dressed in Core Black/Solar Red and the other sports a Crystal White/Collegiate Navy makeup. Both are constructed with knitted uppers, Black and White Boost midsoles with their respective color used on the EVA insert overlays. Highlighting each design are bold adidas branding that wraps around the shoe to complete the design.

Air Jordan 35 “Bayou Boys” Release Date

First introduced on the Air Jordan 34, the Bayou Boys theme now comes to life on the Air Jordan 35 and pays homage to the rich diversity in and around the city of New Orleans, a place where cultures blend, wildlife flourishes, and Zion Williamson and his teammates take the court to do battle.

With a colorway inspired by the city’s character and surrounding bayou ecosystem, the resilience of life in the Mississippi delta reminds us that it’s our differences that give us our strength.

The shoe comes equipped with its large Zoom Air bags for a responsive midsole, while the upper bears the first ever Flightwire system with a Kurim cage underneath for a locked-in feel. Running the length of the midsole is an enlarged Eclipse Plate 2.0, an updated version of the technology in the AJ34 designed for maximum lateral stability and late-game endurance.

Nike will be releasing a charming Air Force 1 Low that sends the message of “Love For All” to try and bring everyone together with the power of love.

This iteration of the Nike Air Force 1 features a clean White leather upper highlighted with 3D jelly Swooshes that reads “LOVE” on the lateral and medial reading the full three-word phrase. Additional details includes a Pink heel with Black “NIKE AIR” branding and a White heart overlay. Pink brands the tongues and insoles completed with an all-White Air Force 1 rubber sole.

Nike continues to add to their VaporMax 2020 lineup, as the Swoosh has just revealed this new “Newsprint” colorway releasing during the holiday season.

Dressed in Newsprint, College Grey, Black, and Opti Yellow color scheme. This Nike Air VaporMax 2020 features a Flyknit upper with Multicolored threads constructed of recycled polyester yarns with FlyEase lacing tech. A marbleized heel atop its signature recycled full-length VaporMax Air unit completes the design.

Nike is taking us back to the 2000s with the return of the Air Max Plus II that will be releasing in a few original as well as new color options. Adding to its retro lineup is this offering that comes dressed in a mix of Blacks and Greys.

CPFM Cactus Plant Flea Market Nike Dunk Low Release Date

Following a few sneaker collabs in 2019, Cactus Plant Flea Market and Nike are set to release a pair of new Dunk Lows during the holiday season.

These CPFM x Nike Dunk Low styles will come dressed in “Pure Platinum” and “Spiral Sage” color blockings. The shoe features an oversized Swoosh, borrowed from the prior CPFM Nike Blazer, extra padding to the tongue and detachable double lace flaps. Its entire upper is covered in Swarovski crystals resembling a disco ball.

Brain Dead Releasing New Converse Chuck 70 Collab

Kyle Ng’s Brain Dead has teamed up once again with Converse to release its second collaborative capsule consisting of a set of Chuck 70 styles as well as a special iteration of the low-top Bosey MC model.

The Converse Chuck 70 distorts the outsole construction and height with EVA foam, adding irregular lines on the rubber rand. Reminiscent of the first collaboration, the upper features an assortment of cow print on tri-paneled canvas and includes Converse and Brain Dead co-branding.

The Bosey MC, a modern take on Converse’s 1940s Lakestream wading shoe, plays with a lower collar height and expresses the shoe’s utility background through graphics. Brain Dead’s visual identity is complemented by tactile layering and details like a reinforced foam collar lining, cord loop heel pulls and lacing cables.

Nike Presto: Virgil’s Triumph

When the Nike Presto debuted at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, runners were introduced to a new sizing system, unlike anything Nike had ever done before. The Presto was marketed as the “t-shirt for your feet”, and rightfully so. It’s S-XL size run simplified the shoe fitting process and broke down the barriers between men’s and women’s sizing. Yet while the Air Presto is a historic silhouette in Nike’s journey, it has never been considered a superstar in the resale market. At least until Virgil Abloh’s The Ten collection.

StockX sifted through their Nike Presto resale data and uncovered why the Presto is a key component when measuring Virgirl Abloh’s power over resale prices. They discovered that Off-White Nike Prestos account for more than half of the total dollars spent on Nike Prestos, taking up an astonishing 52% of the StockX Presto market.

Detailed Look at Usher’s Gold Air Jordan 3 Sample

Back in 2014, Jordan Brand designed a special edition Air Jordan 3 Sample for Usher that’s rumored to be limited to only 10 total pairs and has become one of the hardest pairs to track down.

The shoe features a reflective Gold patent leather upper paired with Black leather liner. “Usher” has been embossed on the inside of each tongue while the front of them include embroidered three stars. The same Gold patent leather is used on the heel tabs as well as on the elephant print mudguards which sees the pattern embossed over the Metallic patent leather. Each of the plastic lace loops are also dressed in Gold while the shoe is topped off with woven Gold and Yellow laces atop a translucent sole.

Much like the Dunk Low, this Nike SB Blazer Low features a Midnight Navy suede upper paired with matching leather eyelets, padded mesh tongues, laces, and inner lining.
