Parra x Vans Reunite On The OTW Old Skool 36

Piet Parra and Vans are reconnecting at a moment when both feel culturally aligned again. The Parra x Vans OTW Old Skool 36 surfaces as an early 2026 project, quietly revealed by Sivasdescalzo. Rather than chasing hype, the collaboration leans into familiarity, reinforcing a partnership that predates Parra’s more public Nike work.

The OTW Old Skool 36 becomes a canvas for Parra’s unmistakable visual language. Wavy suede overlays replace the traditional SideStripe, creating movement across the upper. Deep teal blues meet saturated pinks and burnt orange accents, echoing palettes Parra has revisited throughout his art and footwear history.

This approach recalls earlier Parra Vans releases, especially his Half Cab projects, where color carried the narrative instead of overt branding. The design feels intentional and restrained, suggesting refinement rather than reinvention. Even the packaging continues the story, extending Parra’s linework beyond the shoe itself.

As Vans continues repositioning OTW as a space for experimentation, this collaboration feels well-placed. It balances artistic identity with wearability, avoiding novelty while still standing apart from standard Old Skool executions.

The Parra x Vans OTW Old Skool 36 is expected to arrive in January 2026, with a January 6th raffle through SVD, where the pair will initially be available.

Doublet x ASICS GEL-Quantum 360 “Tyrannosaurus Rex” Releases January 2026

Japanese streetwear staple Doublet is back in the sneaker spotlight as it collaborates with ASICS on the Doublet x ASICS GEL-Quantum 360 “Tyrannosaurus Rex”. The concept-driven drop is Doublet’s latest effort to reshape and redefine high-performance silhouettes as collectible streetwear. The design takes it a step further than even the label’s experimental Kayano series, with a heavy emphasis on visual narrative.

The ASICS GEL-Quantum 360 is completely reworked through a leather upper printed with a full Tyrannosaurus Rex graphic. The dinosaur’s eyes stretch across the quarter panels, while nostrils sit near the toe, creating a surprisingly balanced layout. Although playful, the execution feels deliberate rather than chaotic.

What elevates the design is the midsole. ASICS’ full-length GEL cushioning resembles exposed dinosaur teeth, visually tying performance tooling to the prehistoric theme. Red detailing between the upper and sole reads like gums, bridging form and concept in a way few collaborations attempt.

Packaging reinforces the idea with a custom shoebox echoing the same facial elements. Despite the bold narrative, the shoe remains wearable thanks to restrained tones and familiar cushioning.

The Doublet x ASICS GEL-Quantum 360 “Tyrannosaurus Rex” releases January 9, 2026, exclusively via atmos in Japan.

Netflix x Converse Chuck Taylor Releases January 2026

Netflix continues expanding its fashion presence, this time stepping away from show-specific tie-ins. The brand has partnered with Converse on a clean, identity-driven take on the Chuck Taylor All Star. The move follows strong momentum from past collaborations, while signaling a broader branding strategy.

Handled by Converse Japan, the execution is muted and considered. A blacked-out upper establishes the tone, while red accents are borrowed from Netflix’s global branding. Glossy hits land on the toe cap and logos, contrasting subtly without overwhelming the silhouette.

Branding details is where the pair makes its move. “Netflix” is spelled across the lateral side, while a recognizable profile smiley is tucked inside the tongue. That small interior nod is the shoes way of giving personality without compromising its exterior minimalism.

The approach is in line with recent Converse Japan exclusives, which often favor a clean aesthetic over brash graphics. Compared to previous Netflix sneakers directly tied to Stranger Things, the pair is a bit more mature, leaning into logo details.

The Netflix x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star will release January 23, 2026 for ¥22,000. The pair will be available through Converse Japan, remaining a region-exclusive drop.

Hidden NY Teases Bape Sta Collab For 2026

Hidden NY continues its steady climb, and its latest teaser signals a meaningful next step. Over the weekend, the brand previewed a white patent leather sneaker that sparked heavy speculation. While many initially assumed a Nike Air Force 1, the reveal tells a different story.

A closer look confirms this is an upcoming Hidden NY x Bape Sta collaboration. The embossed circular “H” logo stamped on the heel is set off against a glossy white patent leather surface, while the proportions and paneling of the shoe closely mirror BAPE’s signature silhouette. The vague framing of this was surely intentional and gave rise to many early assumptions before things were made clear.

That patent leather choice matters. The finish is closely tied to early-2000s Bape Sta releases under Nigo, making the material feel rooted in archive history rather than trend chasing. For Hidden NY, the pairing feels natural, matching its clean branding with BAPE’s recognizable design language.

This also marks Hidden NY’s first official project with BAPE, a notable milestone for a label that began as an Instagram moodboard in 2018. The collaboration places Hidden alongside brands that helped shape modern sneaker culture.

As of now, the Hidden NY x Bape Sta is expected in 2026, with official launch details coming directly from Hidden NY channels.

Nike Zoom Vomero 5 Blends “Black” and “Court Purple”

Nike Sportswear keeps circling back to its performance era, and the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 “Black/Court Purple” fits that direction cleanly.

The upper leans heavily on contrast rather than complexity. Black synthetic panels frame open purple mesh, letting Court Purple and Hyper Grape do most of the work. Reflective hits along the Swoosh and midfoot feel purposeful, not decorative, and stay true to the shoe’s original intent.

The heel is where the character really shows. A molded lattice counter in deep purple adds structure and breaks up the silhouette, giving the shoe a more technical stance. Small Swoosh branding back there feels subtle and deliberate.

Underfoot, Cushlon foam and Zoom Air still deliver the balance the Vomero line is known for. It’s cushioned enough for long wear, but firm enough to avoid that overly soft, lifestyle-only feel.

The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 “Black/Court Purple” releases Spring 2026 for $170 via Nike.com and select retailers.

Nike Shox R4 “Black Spruce” Releases Spring 2026

The Nike Shox R4 “Black Spruce” appears ahead of Spring 2026 with a noticeably calmer approach. Once defined by aggressive color blocking, this version shifts toward restraint without losing its tech identity.

White leather covers the upper, giving the silhouette structure and clarity. Dark green Black Spruce overlays wrap the lower half, creating depth instead of contrast overload. Spruce Aura Swooshes soften the look further, offering a more composed alternative to past Shox colorways.

Black Shox columns remain untouched, keeping the model’s mechanical edge intact. Olive Aura pads beneath add just enough visual interest without disrupting balance.

Expect the Nike Shox R4 “Black Spruce” to release in Spring 2026 for $155 via Nike.com and select retailers.

Sneaker Talk: Air Jordan 11 Adapt “White”

The Air Jordan 11 Adapt “White” arrived as a sharp pivot for one of Jordan Brand’s most celebrated silhouettes. The shoe, made to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the model, blended traditional design and Nike’s Adapt power-lacing technology. The innovation was incorporated without affecting the silhouette.

The upper stays faithful to the original blueprint. Semi-translucent textile panels pair with glossy white patent leather, preserving the Air Jordan 11 identity. However, the midsole tells a different story. Illuminated Adapt buttons control fit on the fly, while manual tuning lives inside the Nike Adapt app.

From a broader lens, this self-lacing Jordan 11 felt more experimental than essential. Still, it showed how legacy models can evolve without losing their core appeal. Compared to earlier Adapt sneakers, this execution leaned subtler and more respectful of basketball history.

Originally released in December 2020 for $500, the Air Jordan 11 Adapt “White” never returned to retail. Today, pairs remain available through resale platforms like StockX, with pricing depending on size and condition.

If tech-forward design matters, the Air Jordan 11 Adapt “White” still stands apart—available now via resale marketplaces.

Air Jordan 8 “Cavs” Release Canceled

UPDATE 2/18/26: The Air Jordan 8 “Cavs” release has been scrapped. In its place, Jordan Brand will launch the Air Jordan 8 “Knicks” in December 2026. Click here for the full breakdown and updated release details.

Original Story 9/27/26:
The Air Jordan 8 “Cavs” is scheduled to drop in Fall 2026. Known officially as “Take Flight”, this pair earned its “Cavs” nickname thanks to the Black, Racer Blue and Safety Orange colorway. This color palette was highly reminiscent of the fan-favorite Air Jordan 4 “Cavs” that was released back in 2012.

Early previews of the shoe appear to have a mostly Black nubuck upper accented with Racer Blue and Safety Orange on the overlays and tongue logo. A Blue heel pull tab and solid Black outsole is also anticipated. As always, keep in mind these are early mock-ups and some elements may change slightly by the time the shoe releases.

The Air Jordan 8 has been synonymous with Jordan’s 1990s reign, and this new “Cavs” edition continues that narrative, further evolving the rich history of this iconic silhouette. The combination of retro inspiration and modern execution feels like a strategic play from Jordan Brand. This was a smart call for sneakerheads that missed out on the Air Jordan 4 “Cavs.”

The Air Jordan 8 “Cavs” will release in Fall 2026 at select Jordan Brand retailers and Nike.com. The retail price tag is set at $205 USD.

Nike Air Max 95 “Tattoo/Light Violet Ore” Releases January 2026

The Nike Air Max 95 “Tattoo/Light Violet Ore” doesn’t chase attention. The approach feels deliberate, especially for a model usually defined by bold gradients.

Sail mesh opens the upper. From there, Light Violet Ore and tattoo-toned panels fade into each other without sharp breaks. Velvet Brown suede sits low, heavy enough to anchor the palette.

Details stay quiet. Dark lace loops blend in. Heel Swooshes stay small. The black midsole does its job without distraction. Air units remain visible, because changing that would miss the point.

The Nike Air Max 95 “Tattoo” releases January 13, 2026, at Nike.com and select retailers for $200.

Nike Cortez Goes Minimal With A DIY-Inspired Swoosh

Nike isn’t reinventing the Cortez for Spring 2026. Instead, the brand is refining it. The Nike Cortez Leather “White/Coconut Milk” sticks close to the original shape while shifting attention to detail.

The leather upper stays clean and familiar. What changes is how it’s finished. Exposed stitching runs through the design, showing up where you don’t usually look first. Small pastel accents follow, landing lightly on the tongue, eyestay, and heel. Nothing feels overdone.

The Swoosh is where things turn interesting. The usual solid panel is gone. In its place sits a corded outline that reads almost hand-built.

Nike Air Max Plus VII “Iron Grey” Comes With Pull Laces

The Nike Air Max Plus VII “Iron Grey” appears ahead of Spring 2026 with a quieter confidence. Rather than chasing retro appeal, this version refines the Plus formula with a more controlled, technical direction.

Iron Grey mesh forms the base, layered with raised dot and wave textures that feel structured without looking bulky. Smoke Grey accents soften the profile, while the low-key Swoosh stays intentionally understated. The result feels measured and purposeful.

A pull-lace system replaces traditional lacing, trimming visual clutter and improving ease of wear. This update subtly shifts the Plus VII toward a utility mindset. It’s a practical change that fits the silhouette naturally.

Underfoot, Tuned Air cushioning remains the anchor. Compared to earlier Plus models, the midsole looks cleaner and more sculpted.

Air Jordan 1 Mid “Summit White/Infrared 23” Keeps Things Purposefully Minimal

Jordan Brand continues leaning into restrained color stories, and this Air Jordan 1 Mid “Summit White/Infrared 23” fits that direction.

Instead of loud blocking, Infrared 23 appears in controlled accents, giving the classic silhouette quiet personality. The approach mirrors recent Mid releases favoring balance over nostalgia-heavy palettes.

Infrared detailing touches the tongue trim, insoles, and rear leather spine. Meanwhile, a Neutral Grey leather upper sets the foundation. Black overlays, Swooshes, and outsole elements ground the design, while a white midsole keeps things familiar. The result feels deliberate, not busy.

Historically, Infrared has carried strong Jordan lineage, often tied to bold moments. Here, its minimal use feels modern and intentional.

Nike Air Max 95 “Anthracite” Continues The Model’s Legacy of Stealth Colorways

The Nike Air Max 95 “Anthracite” surfaces as a refined update to Sergio Lozano’s runner. Within the Air Max lineup, subdued executions often age best, and this pair follows that path.

The upper features the Air Max 95’s signature gradient panels, built with black and anthracite mesh. Synthetic overlays sweep across the sides, while Metallic Silver branding adds controlled contrast. Reflective lace loops and rope-style laces underline the shoe’s technical roots without distracting from its clean flow.

Underfoot, visible Air cushioning anchors the design, finished in blacked-out tooling. A faint Lime Blast tint inside the Air units introduces subtle energy, a detail longtime fans often appreciate.

The Nike ACG Phassad is set to re-enter Nike’s All Conditions Gear lineup in an “Anthracite” colorway for Spring 2026. The return signals a continued push toward functional silhouettes with lifestyle crossover appeal.

This Anthracite/Iron Grey–Black–Mink execution reinforces the Phassad’s trail-first DNA. The durable textile upper is held by ACG’s iconic synthetic shroud which is ideal for protection, and also provides a slip-on fit. The side buckle closure secures the fit and is an homage to ACG’s decades of functional-inspired designs

Subtle Mink accents soften the otherwise dark palette, appearing on the mini Swoosh and ACG branding. Reinforced heel panels and pull tabs improve durability and daily usability.

Saucony’s New ProGrid Paramount Now Available

Saucony expands its modern catalog with the Saucony ProGrid Paramount, a new silhouette focused on construction-first design. The model arrives as brands continue reworking late-2000s performance language for today’s lifestyle market.

The Paramount features a padded, lined collar, a largely uninterrupted mesh upper, and a concentric heel structure. Those elements give the Saucony ProGrid Paramount a technical edge that separates it from earlier ProGrid-era releases. Compared to classic Saucony runners, the build feels more sculpted and forward-looking.

However, the color palette keeps things familiar. Current options include black mesh, a women’s colorway with gold accents and pink trim, and a Silver and Navy finish. While the design is progressive, the color blocking maintains everyday wear appeal.
