Sneaker Talk: Air Jordan 4 “Cavs”

Published on

The Air Jordan 4 Cavs was released on May 12th, 2012 and retailed for $160 USD. Originally thought to be a Knicks-inspired release when first leaked, this Air Jordan 4 actually brought us back to the times Michael Jordan sent the Cavs home early during the NBA Playoffs.

Some of the two most vivid moments is the classic Game 5 when Michael Jordan hit the free-throw jumper over Craig Ehlo in 1989, followed by his signatures fadeaway in 1993.

Inspired by the shoe MJ wore in ’89, the Air Jordan 4 received a full Cavs’ makeover dressed in a Black, Safety Orange and Game Royal color scheme.

Where do these rank amongst your favorite Air Jordan 4s of All-Time? Should you guys be in-favor for a retro return in the coming years?
