Hilarious Video: Is This What the Sneaker Game has Come Too?

Spacejams, Cool Greys, and Concords are all “must haves” on sneakerheads wish list, but are they worth a life? As every year passes another hot Jordan Release is set to release. That hot release is accompanied with extreme demand and more people camping out and waiting in line. The downside is that Jordan brand does not make enough pairs for everyone to be happy. As a #sneakerhead, you know that nothing compares to the feeling of when you have those sneakers in the bag on the way out of the store. On the flip side, do you know the feeling of when you can’t get those sneakers? Is that feeling strong enough to make you steal, kill, or hurt someone?

Sneaker Bar Detroit is not about theft, voilence or theft in any way, especially for a pair of sneakers. That is not what the sneakergame is about, but the said thing is that is what has been happening. We want you to grind hard to cop your sneakers whether it is to wear or flip for some cash. But violence, murder and theft must not be a part of that equation. Remember, there will be another release.

Let’s Talk: Nike Zoom Kobe VII System Supreme

The Nike Zoom Kobe 7 dropped on 12/22. Pictures prior to the release had many #sneakerheads skeptical and weary. We wanted to get your feedback on the shoe, its design and performance, if you copped a pair.

To start, the Kobe 4 was the first to be low, which had many basketball players weary because they were afraid to roll their ankle. However, Kobe reassured fans and followers to not worry because soccer players play in low cleats while making hard cuts and turns. The Kobe 5 and 6 were both low cut with distinct changes in design between the two. The Kobe 6 was a huge hit amongst #sneakerheads and basketball players. Additionally, the Kobe 6 dropped in many different colorways. Anyone remember the “Grinch’s”?

The Kobe 7 is low and includes a special system. Similar to the Jordan 2011, the system includes two removable inserts with different cushioning that you can use based on your style of play.

Attack Fast Insert (low-cut attack fast insert)

  • Nike Zoom units in heel and forefoot for cushioning
  • Flywire for support and comfort
  • Power stretch forefoot strap for a snug fit and faster feel

Attack Strong Insert (high-top attack strong insert)

  • High-top ankle cuff for comfortable ride and support
  • Cushon midsole for comfort and protection
  • 3-D heel clip for lockdown
