Air Jordan 5 “Doernbecher” On Feet Images

The Air Jordan 5 “Doernbecher” will be the next Air Jordan 5 colorway to release. This Air Jordan 5 DB will kick off the newly Nike x Doernbecher Collection paying tribute to Isaac Arzate. Each model purchased will include a flashlight to complete the glow-in-the-dark effects, inspired by the love Isaac had for video games as well as the number 9 for baseball and 31 for basketball (his jersey numbers). The Air Jordan 5 “Doernbecher” is finished off with special messages along the entire upper that Isaac wrote the day before he passed away.

Li-Ning Way of Wade 2 “Announcement” Unveiled

Dwyane Wade and Li-Ning had a successful first year run having D.Wade (WOW) win his third NBA title. Today, Li-Ning and designer Eric Miller unveil the upcoming Li-Ning Way of Wade 2 in a Black/White-Red color-scheme inspired by the previous “Announcement” Way of Wade.

Dwyane Wade described the Li-Ning Way of Wade model as being the most comfortable shoe of his career and he didn’t want to change much of the comfort from his first design.

“He really didn’t want too much changed. He wanted a new fresh look,” Miller describes. “He wanted to stay in the leather zone and continue to make a product that had character and charisma and could be something that appealed both on-court and off. There are a lot of shoes now that are just manufactured. They don’t have that hand-crafted stitch detail. We worked with Alejandro Ingelmo and learned some things from the fashion world, and we worked with Dwyane’s stylist and learned some things about him and had a bunch of fun doing it.”

Kevin Durant European Tour Arrives in Spain

Reaching the final location on his European tour, Kevin Durant landed this morning in Barcelona, Spain. The day began with a visit to the downtown Nike store location where invited media watched a television screening of Spain’s national basketball team game at the European Championships. The media in attendance were surprised by Durant’s appearance, and even more so when he invited them to follow him on his day’s journey.

Durant’s second stop of the day was at one of Barcelona’s most popular street basketball locations. The young athletes who were playing at the Valdonzella court, a short distance away from the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art, were extremely excited when Durant suddenly started playing alongside of them. Shortly after his first court visit Durant arrived at a second court, Barceloneta, and surprised more local basketball players.

Durant finished his first day in Barcelona with a visit to Foot Locker’s House of Hoops where he hosted a media conference.

Durant’s Barcelona journey continues tomorrow.

Saturday September 7, adidas Originals and Jeremy Scott revealed the JS WINGS 2.0 BLACK FLAG shoe inspired by A$AP Rocky. During an in store event the two friends met with fans.

Dropping later this month, Scott chose an all-black color way for this version of his wing shoe, rendering the stars and stripes in embroidery, creating his own take on the American flag as an ode to A$AP Rocky.
