Here is a first look at the Air Jordan 1 Japan Sample. We all know that Michael Jordan loves his Air Jordan 1 silhouette, which is why we continue to see multiple releases of the model. This one is one that we have never-seen-before and is being dubbed, “Japan.”

This Air Jordan 1 Japan edition features a Triple Black tumbled and smooth leather upper that looks to be built as a “Remastered” version. Check out the first look below and stay tuned to Sneaker Bar for further updates as they develop.

Nike continues to release new Nike KD 7 models inspired by Austin, Texas for Kevin Durant. The Nike KD 7 EXT “Longhorn State” is celebrates Durant’s collegiate career, where his play energized a campus, having fans waving the index and pinky fingers with pride.

Nike KD 7 EXT Longhorn State – Colorway Details

The upper features all-over Pony Hair, mirroring the steer’s spotted hide. Black accents are present on a suede flocked midsole, signature strap and tongue where his initials are displayed. Cementing Durant’s one-year legacy before turning pro, a branded Nike Swoosh on the toe and heel marks two of his greatest achievements–leading all freshmen in scoring and becoming the first freshman to win the most prestigious player award that season. Tying the design together, a Gum sole contours a responsive Zoom Air Bag in the heel for lasting comfort.

Nike KD 7 EXT Longhorn State – Release Date

Look for the Nike KD 7 EXT “Longhorn State” to release on Friday, January 9th, 2015 at select Nike Sportswear retailers, including Nike.com and Rock City Kicks. The retail price tag is set at, $200 USD.

Remembering Stuart Scott

After a long battle with cancer, legendary ESPN anchor Stuart Scott has died at the age of 49.

Stuart first joined ESPN in 1993 as the host of SportsNight and later became the face of SportsCenter. He was an sports broadcaster that was always himself on camera and brought ‘swag’ to the sports world. Some of his best sayings that will forever be remembered are “BOOYAH!,” “Call him butter, he’s on a roll” and “Cooler than the other side of the pillow.”

Back in July, Scott received the Jimmy V Perseverance Award at the ESPYs and opened up with an incredible speech about his battle with cancer – which you can watch below.

R.I.P. Stuart Scott and thank you for being someone that kids could relate to by the way you brought your swag on the set. Forever missed but never forgotten. You were truly the one anchor I always looked forward to watching highlights and interviews with.

There is nothing better than the Air Jordan 11 holiday releases every year during Christmas time. Thus far we have seen the Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam”, “Cool Grey”, “Concord”, “Bred”, “Gamma” and the newest edition, “Legend Blue” all make their retro debut in December.

Now the wait is on as we anticipate to hear what will be this years Air Jordan 11 2015 holiday release. Will Jordan Brand take the easy way-out and “Remastered” a previous Retro 11 release, or will they gives us something brand new and fresh for the holidays.

Sneaker Talk: Air Jordan 3 “Black Flip”

The Air Jordan 3 Black Flip was released on December 3rd, 2011 and retailed for $175 USD. This “Flip” edition of the Air Jordan 3 was the second silhouette to release that was dressed in a full Black upper with Metallic Silver detailing. The “Black Flip” Air Jordan 3 featured a full Black elephant print base with pebbled leather on the heel, finished with premium leather lining and a perforated leather collar. Other features included a Grey outsole and Metallic Silver Jumpman branding.

Sometimes all-Black releases are at-times overlooked, but the Air Jordan 3 Black Flip definitely caused an uproar when released in 2011. How many of you were able to pick these up in 2011? In addition to the Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski “Polka Dot Grey” edition that was just recently released. Nike Skateboarding has launched another “Polka Dot” version of the Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski dressed in Burgundy.

This Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski features a Burgundy canvas base with Black Polka Dots throughout and a Black Nike Swoosh sitting atop a White vulc sole to finish off the look.

You can now find the “Polka Dot Burgundy” edition available now at select Nike SB retailers, including Sneaker Politics for $85 USD.

Allyson Felix has her own Air Jordan 4, and this Air Jordan 4 Allyson Felix PE is exclusive to her own with custom features.

The American track and field sprint athlete recently shared on her Instagram a photo of her latest 1-of-1 Air Jordan 4. Felix stated that this pair was designed for her by kids participating in the Nike Product Creation Experience.

The shoe features a Grey upper that looks to be Reflective Silver, with Dark Grey laces and Black detailing hitting the interior, mesh netting and outsole. Other features include special custom insoles, touches of Gold and Bronze on the tongue and heel, finished with custom lace locks and her ‘af’ logo hidden underneath the back tab.

Air Jordan 4 Columbia Remastered Official

Jordan Brand will be bringing the back the Air Jordan 4 “Columbia” as a retro release in 2015 and will continue to carry the “Legend Blue” name into the new year. This Air Jordan 4 will be one of many silhouettes part of the brands remastered Air Jordans.

Air Jordan 4 Columbia 2015 Colorway Details

The remastered version of the Air Jordan 4 Retro “Columbia” features a premium White leather upper, with Obsidian details and Columbia/Legend Blue accents. One thing we all been begging Jordan Brand for are higher quality releases and in 2015 they will deliver by releasing multiple Remastered Air Jordan releases this Spring 2015.

Air Jordan 4 Columbia 2015 Release Date

Due to the premium materials the retail prices are expected to rise to $190 as reports are stating. The Air Jordan 4 “Columbia” 2015 is set to release on January 10th, 2015 at select Jordan Brand retailers, including Wish ATL. Following reports these past couple weeks of Michael Vick’s Nike Zoom Vick 2 returning this year, 2015. Vick himself put all the rumors to rest by confirming the news on Instagram.

The Nike Zoom Vick 2 is expected to release in an Atlanta Falcons and New York Jets colorways to kick off the return. As of right now an exact release date is still unknown but keep it locked to Sneaker Bar for further updates.

The Nike Kyrie 1 Deceptive Red takes inspiration from Irving’s phenomenal quickness and accelerated first step.

Nike Kyrie 1 Deceptive Red Colorway Details

Dressed mostly in Red, the shoes is built with a Hyperfuse construction for lightweight durability, breathability and support. Other colors found are minor hints of Yellow around the tongue, with Blue accents on the Kyrie logo and Black detailing throughout.

Some other details of the Kyrie 1 include:

The new Kyrie Irving logo on the shoe’s tongue represents his inner strength and hunger to learn.
Hand-written details in Irving’s penmanship: #2 on the upper heel along with his personal signature on the inside of the tongue.
Jagged pattern on the wrapped traction near the toe and heel counter with architectural angles are both inspired by the Sydney Opera House in Irving’s homeland of Australia.
The acronym “JBY” that sits beneath Irving’s new logo on the outsole stands for “Just Be You,” a motto that Irving hopes inspires kids as they establish their own unique identities.

Nike Kyrie 1 Deceptive Red Release Date

Look for the Nike Kyrie 1 Deceptive Red to release globally on January 10th, 2015 at select Nike Basketball retailers, including Nike.com. Along with the shoe, special KYRIE 1 T-shirts, hats and socks will also be available.
