Evelynn World Gives the Saucony ProGrid Triumph 4 a “Mom Shoe” Makeover

Evelynn Escobar is bringing the “Mom Shoe” to Saucony with her own version of the ProGrid Triumph 4. Better known as Evelynn World, Escobar founded Hike Clerb, an outdoor collective that helps bring more women of color into hiking and outdoor spaces. She first hinted at the collaboration in May with a sonogram-themed teaser, playing off the idea of giving the popular dad shoe trend a mom-focused alternative.

Her take on the Saucony ProGrid Triumph 4 uses off-white mesh and leather overlays, with metallic silver covering parts of the toe, forefoot, and eyestays. Yellow accents sit alongside the silver, while red detailing appears around the collar, midfoot, and midsole. Green touches on the heel and laces, purple lining, and a pink outsole bring more color into the mix. Gold embroidered Saucony logos appear on the sides, with Evelynn World branding on the left heel and Saucony branding on the right, both framed by maroon leather.

The Evelynn World x Saucony ProGrid Triumph 4 will first release October 17, 2026, at a pop-up event at Tommy’s Gift Shop. A wider launch is scheduled for October 23 through Saucony and select retailers, with unisex sizing available. The retail price has not been announced.

Nike Air Flight One OG “Black/White” Returns Fall 2027

Penny Hardaway’s Nike Air Flight One OG “Black/White” is finally getting another release in Fall 2027. Nike first put the shoe out in 1995, then brought it back in 2012 before leaving it alone for the next 15 years. It’s one of those older basketball models that hasn’t been retroed nearly as often as other Nike shoes from the same era, despite having a pretty interesting history involving Michael Jordan.

Michael Jordan wearing Penny Hardaway's Nike Air Flight One Black/White

During the 1995 NBA Playoffs, Jordan actually stepped onto the court wearing Penny’s Air Flight One against the Orlando Magic. He had been fined for wearing the “Concord” Air Jordan 11, so he switched to the Nike model for Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Jordan wearing another player’s sneakers was almost unheard of, especially with his own signature line already well established. Penny later spoke about the moment as a huge sign of respect coming from someone he looked up to.

As for the shoe itself, the 2027 version is expected to stick with the original black nubuck upper and white detailing. The striped tongue, small Swoosh near the toe, and oversized circular pods along the midsole are all part of the design. Penny’s number “1” also appears on the heel, keeping another detail from the original release. Those chunky pods are probably the easiest way to spot an Air Flight One, even among all the other basketball shoes Nike made during the ’90s.

Nike Kobe 7 Protro “Invisibility Cloak” Returns Fall 2027

The Nike Kobe 7 “Invisibility Cloak” hasn’t been available since its original release in 2012, but that’s finally changing. Nike Basketball is bringing the shoe back in Fall 2027, marking the first time the Kobe 7 will receive the Protro treatment. The original pair became a favorite for its unusual color-changing upper, which shifts between purple and turquoise as the light hits it from different angles.

Nike is keeping the familiar Black, Court Purple, and Turquoise Blue colors for the 2027 version. The shoe features textured black leather, Metallic Silver Swooshes, and Infrared Kobe branding, with an icy outsole underneath. Most of the attention will probably go straight to the upper, though. Its iridescent finish gives the shoe that changing appearance people remember from the original release, and it’s also how the “Invisibility Cloak” nickname came about.

JJJJound Gives the New Balance 990v3 an All-Suede Makeover

The mesh is missing from JJJJound’s latest New Balance 990v3. In its place is tan suede covering the entire upper, a change from the usual construction. Black shows up on the “N” logos, trim, and outsole, along with the New Balance embroidery on the tongue.

The 990v3 is nothing new for JJJJound. The studio first worked on the model in 2018 before returning with more colorways in 2022. Those earlier releases stuck closer to the traditional construction, while this version gets rid of the mesh altogether. It’s a fairly simple change, but one that gives the familiar runner a different look without changing its shape.

Materials have also been a focus of the brand’s recent New Balance projects. The JJJJound x New Balance 740 arrived with a no-sew construction, another example of the studio changing how an existing model is put together. For 2026, JJJJound joins Kith as the only two collaborators to release their own versions of the 990v3.

The JJJJound x New Balance 990v3 “Suede” releases October 22, 2026, exclusively through JJJJound’s website.

Nike Air Force 1 “What The LA” Makes a Comeback After Seven Years

The Nike Air Force 1 Low “What The LA” is returning October 22, 2026, seven years after its original release in 2019. The mismatched sneaker pulls together colors from Los Angeles sports teams, with each shoe featuring a different combination. It’s another LA-themed release in a year that has already brought several Dodgers-inspired sneakers and pairs celebrating the Lakers.

The design sticks with Nike’s familiar “What The” approach, mixing colors and materials that wouldn’t normally appear together on the same shoe. Red covers the toe of the left shoe, joined by white overlays, tan suede, and Lakers purple at the heel. The right shoe looks entirely different, with Dodgers blue up front, green side panels, and gold wrapping around the back. Neither shoe follows one team’s colors from start to finish, which was part of the original 2019 design.

Los Angeles script branding appears on the lateral heel and insole of each shoe. Aside from the matching lettering and traditional Air Force 1 Low construction, the two sides have little in common visually. The return brings back one of Nike’s more colorful LA-themed releases without changing the original concept.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low “What The LA” releases October 22, 2026, through Nike and select retailers in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $125.

Vans “Plaid” Collection Available Now With Old Skool, Authentic, and Sk8-Hi

Vans has new plaid versions of the Old Skool, Authentic, Sk8-Hi, and Slip-On. The collection sticks mostly to navy, brown, black, and green, with suede mixed in on some pairs. One Old Skool even has a plaid midsole. Prices range from $65 to $105.

The navy Old Skool has plaid covering nearly the whole shoe, including the midsole, with olive and red lines running through the dark blue fabric. Matching laces and metal eyelets are also included. There’s a brown Old Skool that keeps the plaid on the side panels, with suede covering the toe and heel and the usual white Sidestripe running across the sides. The Sk8-Hi gets black suede up front, navy plaid around the ankle and heel, and white laces with matching stitching.

Several Authentic colorways are part of the release as well, including a green tartan version with red, yellow, and white lines running through the fabric. The brown and navy pairs use suede across the toe, with plaid continuing around the sides and heel. All three keep the traditional white rubber soles, unlike the navy Old Skool that carries the pattern onto the midsole.

The Vans “Plaid” collection is available now through Vans.com in men’s sizing, with prices ranging from $65 to $105, depending on the style.

Steven Paul Judd Designs Nike N7 Holiday 2026 Collection

Steven Paul Judd is behind the Nike N7 Holiday 2026 collection, bringing his artwork to the Air Force 1, GT Cut 4, and several pieces of matching apparel. The Native American artist has previously worked with Disney, Marvel, AMC, and the Oklahoma City Thunder, with his latest project incorporating cultural references and designs tied to his Oklahoma roots. The collection also continues Nike’s work through the N7 Fund, which has donated $15.2 million to 324 nonprofit organizations supporting Native communities.

The Nike Air Force 1 N7 uses tan and blue nubuck across the upper, with the color combination based on sunsets in Oklahoma. Orange chenille Swooshes appear on the sides, and Judd adds a smiley face to the heel using arrowheads for the eyes and a curved arrow for the mouth.

For the Nike GT Cut 4 N7, Judd uses a teal color scheme with an all-over pattern influenced by Choctaw culture. The basketball shoe actually made its first appearance back in June when Kiowa-Cherokee NBA player Lindy Waters wore it during pregame warm-ups ahead of the NBA Finals. Rounding out the collection are a hoodie and matching pants, two graphic T-shirts, and a basketball jersey with coordinating shorts.

The Nike N7 Holiday 2026 Collection, including the Air Force 1 and GT Cut 4, releases November 7, 2026, through Nike and Hibbett.

NBA Crocs Crocband Clog Collection Releases October 20th

Crocs has teamed up with the NBA for a new Crocband Clog collection arriving just in time for the 2026-27 season. Five teams are part of the release, including the Los Angeles Lakers, Boston Celtics, Chicago Bulls, Golden State Warriors, and New York Knicks. Each pair comes in its team’s colors with matching logos and graphics throughout.

All five pairs use the Crocband Clog, which has a slightly different look from the traditional Classic Clog. Each comes in its team’s signature colors, with logos along the sides and NBA x Crocs branding on the heel straps and footbeds. The straps also feature fabric detailing near the attachment points, while retro-inspired Jibbitz charms add more team graphics to each pair.

Fans of the other 25 teams aren’t being left out, either. Crocs is releasing NBA Jibbitz charms for all 30 franchises, with individual team logos priced at $2 and five-piece packs featuring premium metal charms available for $20.

Vans Old Skool 36 Pearlized “Marshmallow” Releases November 12th

Vans has officially unveiled its Old Skool 36 Pearlized Pack for the Fall/Holiday 2026 season. One of the pairs coming from the collection is this “Marshmallow” edition, done almost entirely in an off-white finish.

The upper mixes canvas with suede, while pearls and small crystal accents are scattered around the shoe. You can see them along the Sidestripe, around the toe, on the tongue, and toward the heel. Most of the rest stays pretty simple, including matching off-white laces and the same light finish around the midsole.

Vans also went with a worn-in look instead of making everything look brand new. There are some distressed areas around the upper and sidewall, along with a thin black line around the midsole. The usual “Off The Wall” license plate is found on the heel.

The shoe sits on the familiar Vans waffle outsole and has a Sola Foam ADC insole inside.

The Vans Old Skool 36 Pearlized “Marshmallow” releases November 12, 2026 at select Vans retailers and Vans.com. The retail price is set at $130.

Satoshi Nakamoto x Vans Era “Gems” Releases October 16th

The Satoshi Nakamoto x Vans Era “Gems” caused quite a scene during its first release in Los Angeles. So many people showed up that the original launch plans had to be scrapped because of crowding and traffic around the location. The navy colorway, which also goes by “Lucky Charms,” quickly started fetching high resale prices, and now Vans is giving everyone another chance to grab a pair through a wider online release.

The navy version keeps all the unusual details that made the original Satoshi Nakamoto Vans collaboration stand out. The uppers look heavily worn, with sections cut away, loose threads hanging from the edges, and exposed foam around the ankle. Small gemstones are set into the shoe, adding some shine to an otherwise beat-up design. The midsoles have a stained finish with Satoshi Nakamoto branding repeated around the sides. It’s a pretty strange combination when you look at everything together, but that’s also what separates these from a regular pair of Vans Eras.

Satoshi Nakamoto Vans Era Gems Release Date

The Satoshi Nakamoto x Vans Era “Gems” drops on Vans.com on October 16th, retailing for $195. Vans hasn’t listed any stores carrying the release, so it looks like these could be available online only. View official images below.

Nike Air Raid II Set To Return For The First Time

Frank Cooke just went on Instagram and teased the return of the Nike Air Raid II. This is a big deal since Nike never gave the ’90s basketball shoe a proper retro release. Ever since Cooke went back to work at the Beaverton campus, his social feeds have been a goldmine for early footwear leaks. Teasing the heel of the original “Urban Jungle Gym” colorway takes the cake, though.

This version—also known as the “Live Together, Play Together” colorway—gained legendary status back in the mid-1990s due to those wild, colorful Afrocentric patterns Spike Lee showcased in his iconic outdoor streetball commercials.

The hype makes complete sense when you look back at the history of the sneaker line. Nike engineered the original Air Raid specifically to handle rough asphalt courts, even stamping “for outdoor use only” right on the shoe itself. The very first model has been brought back to retail shelves a few times over the decades, but the Air Raid II has been locked away deep in the brand’s archives without a single re-release until now.

Nike hasn’t dropped official release dates or retail pricing just yet. Still, Cooke’s teaser image shows the design team is actively working on the silhouette again. Sneaker production schedules are incredibly long, so if they are just in the early development phase, a realistic launch window is likely around late 2027 or early 2028.

Check out detailed images of the original Nike Air Raid II below, and stay tuned for further release updates.

Edison Chen’s CLOT x adidas Superstar Collection Drops October 16th

Edison Chen has two new versions of the adidas Superstar coming out for Fall/Winter 2026, including one that gets rid of the heel completely. Both pairs are part of his latest CLOT collection with adidas Originals, which also includes a range of clothing.

The first Superstar comes in dark royal blue suede with a matching upper and the familiar shell toe up front. It also keeps the rippled sole that Chen has used on several of his previous adidas releases, giving the shoe a different look from the standard Superstar.

The second pair changes things quite a bit. This tan-colored Superstar Mule has an open back, so it can be slipped on without dealing with laces or a traditional heel. Backless sneakers have become more common over the past few years, and CLOT is now bringing that same design to one of adidas’ oldest models.

Clothing is also part of the Fall/Winter 2026 collection, with pieces connected to Chen’s background in Hong Kong and Vancouver. Both cities have played a role in his work with CLOT, where he’s often mixed elements of Eastern and Western fashion.

The CLOT x adidas Superstar Collection will be available globally beginning October 16, 2026 via the CONFIRMED app, adidas.com, and select retailers.

Foot Locker Is Opening a Sneaker Store Inside Madison Square Garden

Knicks fans will soon have another place to buy sneakers without leaving Madison Square Garden. Foot Locker has signed a multi-year deal with the arena that will bring a dedicated sneaker shopping area to the Knicks Team Store at Chase Square.

The retailer has signed a multi-year deal with Madison Square Garden to become the Official Athletic Footwear Retailer of the New York Knicks for the 2026-27 NBA season. Part of the agreement includes a dedicated Foot Locker shopping area inside the Knicks Team Store at Chase Square.

There could eventually be exclusive sneaker drops, special releases, and other events tied to Knicks home games. Foot Locker hasn’t confirmed anything specific on that front, though the setup leaves room for those kinds of releases down the road.

Selling sneakers inside a basketball arena has been done before. Nike had its Kobe Vault at Staples Center during Kobe Bryant’s playing career, with merchandise centered around his signature shoes. The difference here is that Foot Locker carries several brands, so the selection won’t be limited to one player or sneaker line.

Foot Locker will also have pop-up shops at certain home games, along with activities throughout the arena, special fan events, and a Knicks Theme Night sponsored by the retailer.

Outside the Garden, Foot Locker is rolling out its Fan Express across New York City. The traveling setup will have sneakers, clothing, ticket giveaways, live podcast recordings, and prizes before making its final stop at Madison Square Garden.

The Knicks tip off their season on October 20th against the Philadelphia 76ers.

Jordan Heir 02 “Pow Pink” Arrives For Breast Cancer Awareness Month

The Jordan Heir Series 2 “Pow Pink” is scheduled for Fall 2026, with a bright pink colorway arriving around Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The release isn’t officially connected to the annual campaign, though its pink upper and softer Plum Fog TPU cage give it a similar look.

Smoke Grey covers the tongue and inner lining, while metallic silver tape-like detailing stretches across the upper. Each pair also includes a Jordan-branded hair tie, something the brand has carried over from other Heir Series 2 releases.

Feedback from women basketball players helped shape the Jordan Heir Series 2, which is available as a unisex basketball shoe. Air Zoom cushioning provides underfoot comfort, while the outsole is built for traction during play. A TPU cage adds structure and helps keep the foot contained during quick movements.

The Jordan Heir Series 2 “Pow Pink” will release in October 2026 through select Jordan Brand retailers and online. The shoe will retail for $115.

New Balance 992 “Medusa Green” Drops October 27th

New Balance has another 992 lined up for the colder months, this time pairing Medusa Green with Thunder Brown for its Made in USA Fall/Winter 2026 collection. The darker color mix works across the 992 without changing much about the materials and construction people already know from the model.

Dark green mesh fills most of the upper, with matching overlays and teal stitching running around the panels. Thunder Brown suede covers the mudguard from the toe through the sides and continues around the heel. Brown also carries down to the midsole and outsole, keeping the bottom half of the shoe in the same earthy range.

White laces and collar lining lighten things up, while the side “N” logos come outlined in white against the green upper. Grey panels near the heel carry the 992 branding, and “USA” is stitched onto the back. New Balance and 992 branding finish off the tongue.

The New Balance 992 Made in USA “Medusa Green” releases October 27, 2026, on NewBalance.com and at select New Balance retailers. Retail price is set at $200.

Nike Air Force 1 Low Gets an Iron Man-Inspired Makeover

Another red and gold Air Force 1 is on the way, and this one has a pretty obvious Iron Man look to it. The glossy patent leather makes the colors stand out even more, especially with that bright orange sole underneath. Nike did something similar back in 2013, so longtime sneaker fans might remember the earlier pair. The timing also comes as adidas has been putting out officially licensed Marvel sneakers, including Avengers Superstars, with a Doctor Doom Anthony Edwards 3 also on the way.

The “Iron Man” name isn’t official, since this isn’t a Marvel collaboration. It’s just what people are calling the shoe because of the colors. Dark red patent leather covers almost everything up top, while burgundy laces and a darker heel add a little variation. The orange Swooshes match the translucent sole, and the black lines around the leather panels give it an almost illustrated look. There’s something about the shiny finish that also brings those old BAPE Marvel sneakers to mind. Orange Nike Air logos appear on the tongue and heel.

The Nike Air Force 1 Patent “Iron Man” is set to release November 1, 2026 through select retailers and Nike.com. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price tag is set at $125.
