PJ Tucker, The NBA’s Sneaker King, Retires From The NBA

PJ Tucker retires with a legacy that stretches far beyond box scores, defensive stops, and corner threes. The veteran forward announced his decision on Instagram, closing a professional basketball career that lasted nearly two decades and helped turn him into the NBA’s most respected sneaker collector.

Known as the league’s “Sneaker King,” Tucker built a reputation for wearing pairs most players could only admire from a distance. His collection reportedly includes more than 5,000 sneakers, ranging from Nike Basketball classics and Jordan grails to player exclusives and rare samples. During the 2017-18 season alone, he wore 106 different sneakers, often switching pairs during halftime.

Tucker’s sneaker moments became a major part of his NBA identity. One of his wildest came in 2022, when he laced up a sample of the unreleased Nike LeBron 2 “Beast,” also known as the “Cheetah.” The pair was so rare that even LeBron James appeared caught off guard when he saw them on court. Tucker also brought more than 100 pairs to the NBA bubble and famously rotated through all three Nike Air Yeezy 2 colorways during games, further proving his sneaker lineup was in a league of its own.

PJ Tucker’s NBA path was never simple. After entering the league in 2006 with the Toronto Raptors, he spent time overseas before returning as a trusted 3-and-D veteran. Stops with the Suns, Rockets, Bucks, Heat, 76ers, and Clippers helped shape a career built on toughness, defense, and consistency.

His retirement ends one of the most unique sneaker runs basketball has ever seen. Whether wearing vintage Kobes, rare LeBrons, exclusive Jordans, or one-of-one gems, Tucker changed how fans watched footwear on court. Check out some of PJ Tucker’s best sneaker moments below.

Nike Air Max 1 “Milwaukee Brewers” Releases May 9th

UPDATE 5/8/26: The Nike Air Max 1 “Milwaukee Brewers” is set to release May 9th, 2026 for $150 USD via DICK’S Sporting Goods. Check out the official photos below.

Original Story 5/1/26:
Milwaukee’s City Connect story is now carrying over into footwear with the Nike Air Max 1 “Milwaukee Brewers.” The pair is part of Nike’s larger MLB City Connect Air Max 1 collection, which is expected to include styles tied to all eight participating teams this season.

The Brewers edition pulls directly from the team’s latest City Connect uniform, using a blue-heavy palette inspired by the Great Lakes. Light blue hairy suede covers much of the upper, while deeper navy suede lands around the mudguard, heel, and lower panels. White mesh breaks up the look, giving the shoe a clean base beneath the bold team colors.

Rainbow detailing adds one of the pair’s strongest visual hits. The Swoosh features layered trim in yellow and orange tones, matching the accents seen across Milwaukee’s City Connect jersey. A small orange lace detail adds another pop of color, while the tongue badge features a playful baseball graphic that ties the design back to the field.

Chain-stitched “Brewers” branding appears on the heel, giving the shoe a vintage sportswear feel. The cream midsole, visible Air unit, and multicolor outsole complete the design while keeping the classic Air Max 1 shape intact.

The Nike Air Max 1 City Connect “Milwaukee Brewers” is listed on the DICK’S Sporting Goods release calendar for May 9th. Priced at $150 USD, the pair joins the growing MLB City Connect lineup alongside confirmed styles for the Pirates, Braves, and Padres, with more teams expected to follow.

First Look At The Air Jordan 9 “Space Jam”

The Air Jordan 9 “Space Jam” is officially back in the spotlight with a detailed first look ahead of its Fall 2026 release. Last seen in 2016, the classic black, white, and red colorway returns for its sixth retail launch, continuing one of the more interesting stories in Air Jordan 9 history.

Michael Jordan never wore the Air Jordan 9 during an NBA game with the Chicago Bulls, since the model released during his first retirement from basketball. However, the silhouette still became an important part of Jordan Brand history, appearing through global-inspired details and later gaining stronger pop culture relevance through Space Jam.

While most fans connect the movie to the black-and-royal Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam”, this Air Jordan 9 also played a role in the film’s legacy. Jordan was seen wearing the black, white, and red pair during scenes and promotional moments tied to the movie, helping give the colorway its lasting nickname.

The latest images show the shoe returning with its familiar white leather upper, black overlays, black laces, and red branding hits. Red Jumpman logos appear on the midsole and outsole, while “23” branding lands on the heel. Early photos do not show the glitter detail that some fans may remember from past pairs.

Air Jordan 9 “Space Jam” 2026 Release Date

The Air Jordan 9 OG “Space Jam” releases August 29, 2026, for $215 USD. The sneaker will be available through Jordan Brand retailers and Nike.com.

Nike Just Dropped A New Tennis Classic “Terrycloth” Pack

The Nike Tennis Classic “Terrycloth” Pack brings a fresh material story to one of Nike’s cleanest court silhouettes. Instead of relying only on smooth leather and simple color blocking, this two-pair release adds woven, towel-like textures across key panels for a more lifestyle-driven finish.

The Fir/White-Sail colorway carries the louder design from the pack. Deep green leather appears on the Swoosh, heel tab, collar, and lining, while the upper mixes royal blue, golden yellow, and dark charcoal terrycloth patterns. White laces and a Sail midsole help soften the look without taking away from the bold textile build.

The White/Sail-Safety Orange pair keeps things more minimal while still using the same textured theme. A white leather upper gives the shoe a cleaner base, while the terrycloth Swoosh and heel overlay add Safety Orange, green, and royal blue hits. The Sail sole adds a slightly vintage look, making the pair easier to wear daily.

Both colorways stay true to the Tennis Classic’s low-profile shape and retro court DNA. The textured midsoles, leather overlays, and soft fabric details give the pack a more elevated feel without making the design too busy.

The Nike Tennis Classic “Terrycloth” Pack is available now via Nike.com for $125 each.

Nike Brings Flyknit Back With The LD-1000

The Nike LD-1000 Flyknit gives the retro runner a modern refresh while keeping its slim, vintage shape intact. Originally known for its low-profile build and old-school running DNA, the silhouette now arrives with airy Flyknit uppers that bring a softer and more breathable feel to the classic design.

Nike dresses the first pair in a clean White/Sail colorway. The upper comes covered in white Flyknit with open-knit details across the side panels, creating a textured look that feels light and crafted. A Sail midsole adds a slightly aged finish, while the gum waffle outsole keeps the shoe connected to its heritage roots. Red Nike branding on the tongue adds a small but sharp pop of color.

The second pair takes a darker approach with its Black/Dark Smoke Grey-Natural-White palette. Black Flyknit covers most of the upper, while Dark Smoke Grey tones add depth through the woven texture. White laces, a white heel tab, and a Natural midsole break up the darker base, giving the shoe a clean contrast. A black waffle outsole completes the vintage running setup.

Both Nike LD-1000 Flyknit colorways are available now via Nike.com. Each pair is priced at $115 USD, making this release a solid option for fans of lightweight retro runners with modern material updates.

Brooklyn Projects Taps Anthrax For A Heavy Metal adidas Superstar ADV

Brooklyn Projects, adidas Skateboarding, and Anthrax are joining forces for a new 2026 collaboration series. The project starts with a Superstar ADV built around the heavy metal band’s loud, aggressive identity and Brooklyn Projects’ skate-driven edge.

The Anthrax x Brooklyn Projects x adidas Superstar arrives in an all-black build with a full Cordura base for added durability. Pre-distressed leather appears on the Three Stripes and heel tab, giving the shoe a worn-in look straight out of the box. Yellow laces add contrast while tying back to Anthrax’s signature logo colors.

Brooklyn Projects branding also appears on the sneaker, with “BP” details worked into the design. While the full rollout has not been revealed, this first pair sets the tone for a darker, tougher take on the adidas Superstar ADV. The result feels made for both skate sessions and mosh pits.

To celebrate the launch, Brooklyn Projects is holding an in-store giveaway at its 7427 Melrose Ave location. Fans can pick up a free raffle ticket starting tomorrow, with the raffle closing Friday, May 15, 2026. Winners will later be contacted to collect their pairs in-store.

A wider release for the Anthrax x Brooklyn Projects x adidas Superstar is expected later in 2026. Two more models from the Brooklyn Projects, adidas Skateboarding, and Anthrax collection are also planned, though details have not been announced yet.

Nike Kobe 8 Protro “Easter” Returns Spring 2027

Kobe Bryant’s Nike Protro series will continue into 2027 with the return of the Nike Kobe 8 “Easter” edition. Originally released in 2013, the colorway is expected to make its comeback 14 years later as Nike keeps bringing key Kobe retros back into the performance basketball spotlight.

The “Easter” Kobe 8 remains one of the more memorable pairs from Nike Basketball’s 2013 holiday collection. While the KD 5 and LeBron 10 also joined that lineup, Kobe’s version stood out with a louder mix of color and a more experimental gradient upper.

Teal, yellow, purple, and black cover the low-cut silhouette, giving the shoe a bright seasonal look while still tying back to Lakers-inspired tones. The upper features a faded graphic finish, while black detailing hits the Swoosh, laces, heel counter, and speckled midsole. Yellow Kobe branding on the heel adds another sharp contrast point.

Nike has not confirmed full release details yet, but recent Kobe Protro releases have often stayed close to original color blocking. That suggests the 2027 version could keep the familiar look while updating the shoe with modern Protro performance touches.

Nike Kobe 8 “Easter” 2027 Release Date

The Nike Kobe 8 Protro “Easter” is expected to release during Spring 2027 for $200 USD. A launch window between January and April is currently expected, with official details likely to surface closer to the release.

Nike SB Dunk Low “Green Noise/Watermelon” Releases Fall 2026

Nike SB continues to bring playful color stories to the Dunk Low, and this upcoming “Green Noise/Watermelon” pair adds another bold look to the lineup. While the official inspiration has not been confirmed, the mix of green, orange, and bright pink gives the shoe a colorful feel that may remind some fans of South Beach styling or the 1996 NBA All-Star Game palette from San Antonio.

The Nike SB Dunk Low uses a suede upper with rich green overlays and orange underlays across the toe box, quarter panel, tongue, and heel area. Bright pink accents hit the leather Swoosh, laces, tongue branding, heel embroidery, and outsole detail, adding sharp contrast against the warm base colors.

An Off Noir midsole helps ground the loud upper, while the orange rubber outsole keeps the look connected from top to bottom. The pair also appears to include extra lace options, giving skaters and collectors more ways to style the release.

The Nike SB Dunk Low “Green Noise/Watermelon” is expected to release during Fall 2026 at select skate shops and Nike.com. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $120 USD.

Club 58 x Nike SB Air Max 95 “Sail” Releasing For 2026 World Cup

UPDATE 5/7/26: New images of the Club 58 x Nike SB Air Max 95 World Cup Pack “Sail” have surfaced, giving a better look at the colorway first previewed in our original coverage. The latest photos reveal sunset-inspired insoles, along with a matching split-color detail on the tufted Air Max tongue branding.

The collaborative release is still expected to arrive in Fall 2026, placing its launch window between July and September.

Original Story 4/20/26:
Nike SB is linking with Club 58 on a special Air Max 95 tied to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, bringing one of the year’s biggest themes onto one of Nike’s most important retro runners. The project also connects two familiar storylines for the brand, mixing the ongoing Air Max 95 push with a football-inspired release built around the tournament.

A soft off-white upper sets the base, while silver and black run through the layered design for a clean contrast. Orange lining adds a warmer hit inside the shoe, and the overall color makeup gives this pair a sunset-like look that separates it from more standard Air Max 95 releases. Gothic Club 58 branding on the heel ties the shoe back to Nike SB’s low-key in-house skate collective, continuing a story that has already shown up on past SB collaborations.

A second colorway in “Hyper Pink/Light Lemon Twist” is also expected to join the pack, giving the World Cup project a brighter counterpart. That added pair should make this release even more notable as Nike continues to fold skateboarding and global football energy into the same conversation.

The Club 58 x Nike SB Air Max 95 “World Cup” is currently expected to release in Fall 2026 through select skate shops and SNKRS. Retail pricing is set at $190 USD.

Jordan Triangle Brings Phil Jackson’s Famous Offense To Footwear

Jordan Brand is pulling from basketball history for the new Jordan Triangle “Baltic Blue”, a performance model inspired by one of the sport’s most famous offensive systems. The triangle offense became a major part of NBA culture through Phil Jackson, who used the system during championship runs with Michael Jordan’s Bulls and Kobe Bryant’s Lakers.

The sneaker carries that legacy into a modern hoops design built with a mix of mesh and leather. Large side panels give the shoe a bold shape, while a leather overlay runs from the heel toward the toe box. The early look also reveals a ZoomX mark near the forefoot, suggesting Jordan Brand is adding premium cushioning to this new basketball silhouette.

This “Baltic Blue” colorway gives the Jordan Triangle a clean and energetic debut look. Light blue covers most of the upper, while deeper royal accents appear on the tongue, trim, laces, and midfoot details. White branding and toe detailing add contrast without taking away from the court-ready color blocking.

The Jordan Triangle is expected to release in Fall 2026 in multiple colorways, including this “Baltic Blue” pair. The retail price is set at $145 USD, placing the model in an interesting spot within Jordan Brand’s growing performance basketball lineup.

First Look At The adidas Anthony Edwards 3 “Sky Tint/Bliss Blue”

Anthony Edwards’ next signature sneaker is already building early momentum, with the adidas Anthony Edwards 3 “Sky Tint/Bliss Blue” surfacing ahead of its expected 2026 launch. The first look shows adidas continuing the bold performance design language that helped make Edwards’ line one of basketball’s most watched signature series.

This third model keeps the aggressive feel of the AE line while pushing the upper in a sharper direction. A white mesh base gives the shoe a clean starting point, while the side panels feature jagged synthetic overlays that form a cage-like structure. That detail gives the sneaker a fast, locked-in look while also connecting back to the visual identity of the AE 1 and AE 2.

Sky Tint and Bliss Blue tones bring a much brighter feel than many previous Anthony Edwards releases. The gradient effect moves from soft blue into deeper royal shades across the raised overlays, giving the shoe more energy from every angle. A low-cut collar, thin toe overlay, and sculpted underfoot setup complete the early look.

Performance details are expected to include Lightstrike Pro cushioning and a propulsion plate, keeping the adidas Anthony Edwards 3 built for explosive guards and quick downhill movement. While adidas has not fully revealed the tech specs yet, this early pair suggests the line will continue balancing standout design with court-ready function.

Nike SB’s Air Force 1 Trend Continues With “Wheat”

Nike SB continues building momentum around the Air Force 1, this time dressing the updated skate version in a familiar “Wheat” colorway. The result blends one of Nike’s most recognizable lifestyle styles with a build made closer to skate needs.

This Nike SB Air Force 1 “Wheat” features a full suede upper covered in a golden brown tone. Matching laces, padded collars, and tonal overlays keep the design clean, while black Nike SB branding adds contrast on the tongue, heel, and insoles. A full gum sole completes the workboot-inspired look.

The shape also separates this pair from a standard Air Force 1 Low. Nike SB appears to give the model a lower, wider stance, creating a build that feels more grounded. That change gives the shoe a sharper profile while still keeping the AF1’s classic DNA intact.

“Wheat” has long been tied to the Air Force 1, especially during fall and winter seasons. Nike SB has also used similar tones across past Dunk releases, making this pair feel like a natural meeting point between both worlds. The suede finish and gum outsole give the shoe a simple, wearable feel that should appeal to both skaters and AF1 fans.

The Nike SB Air Force 1 “Wheat” is expected to release during Summer 2026 at select skate shops and Nike.com. The pair will be available in men’s sizing with a retail price of $120 USD.
