Nike Officially Coming to Amazon

Amazon, who just made a huge purchase of Whole Foods for $13.7 billion USD in cash, along with introducing Amazon Prime Wardrobe is now taking things further. Both Amazon and Nike have agreed in a deal to start stocking items directly from Nike. This will also help fakes from being sold on Amazon, not to mention that Nike looks to earn a half a billon USD from this new partnership.

“Taking this step would give Nike direct economic exposure to a large and fast growing distribution channel, while improving the brand presentation and expanding access to millennial shoppers,” Goldman analyst Lindsay Drucker Mann said.

New Balance’s Trailbuster receives some strength with its “Black Steel” look that can handle all the outdoor activities during the warmer months. While the New Balance Trailbuster was designed to tackle urban trails in the winter, it can also be worn during your hikes.

The shoe features an engineered mesh upper with taped paneling, rope laces, 3M reflective tongue and heel tabs. Other details include nylon heel plus, leather heel wraps a speckled rubber midsole and semi-translucent rugged rubber outsole.

Jerry Lorenzo Previews More Fear of God x Vans Vault Shoes

We’re still a few months away from Jerry Lorenzo’s Fear of God x Vans Vault Collection to officially release. But thanks to the man himself we’re able to get a few sneak peaks of upcoming shoes that will be part of this anticipated collaboration.

Today, he revealed the Fear of God Vans Authentic silhouette that comes similar to last year’s pair with Fear of God logo branding covering the entire toe cap and heel. Along with the Vans Authentic is the already seen Vans Mountain Edition colorway.

A confirmed release date for the Fear of God x Vans Vault Collection has yet to be revealed, but we do know that it will be around the holiday season. Stay tuned to Sneaker Bar for more updates as they develop.

First Look: Li-Ning Way of Wade 6

Believe it or not, Dwyane Wade has been with Li-Ning for over a half of a decade. Today, we get a first look at his sixth signature shoe, the Li-Ning Way of Wade 6 (Six).

The shoe comes dressed in the Chicago Bulls color scheme, being that Dwyane Wade will at-least start the first half of the NBA season with the team. Its highlighted with an all-new midfoot strap that’s covered in carbon fiber. Black and White covers majority of the knitted upper, while Red is seen on the inner lining and back pull tabs. An icy translucent outsole with the wording of “WOW SIX” appearing as a nod to his sixth signature shoe.

Nike Basketball Announces 2017 Rookie Class

Ahead of the 2017 NBA Draft, Nike Basketball welcomes seven talented players to its roster. With so much movement currently happening in the NBA, don’t be surprise to see some final big trades take place right before the draft begins.

For the Nike Basketball 2017 Rookie Class it will include Markelle Fultz, De’Aaron Fox, Malik Monk, Bam Adebayo, Jayson Tatum, Harry Giles, and Jonathan Isaac.

Pigalle x NikeLab Collection Releases on June 24th

The Pigalle x NikeLab Collection will officially release on June 24th. The collection consists of the Pigalle x NikeLab Air Shake Ndestrukt, and Ashpool’s take on the classic sport slide, the Pigalle x NikeLab Benassi Duo Ultra Slide, along with matching apparel.

Inspired by Pigalle founder Stéphane Ashpool’s undying love of ’90s basketball. His latest collection with NikeLab advances this proposition, not only introducing new garments, but broadening scope to include silhouettes that work seamlessly for men and women. Ashpool estimates for every 10 customers at his Paris store, three are women, and while his aesthetic draws heavily from women’s haute couture, this is the first time he’s consciously pushed a NikeLab offering in a softer direction.

This approach, balancing masculine and feminine touches, is also consistent across the two footwear offerings in the collection.

“It was a pretty funky shoe to work on,” Ashpool says of the NikeLab Shake Ndestrukt x Pigalle. “These shoes have a strong volume, so I needed to reduce that. Using the Velcro and those colors, gives it a softer twist.”

Nike Lunar Magista II Flyknit “White/Black” Now Available

Nike has given the Magista soccer cleat a transformation by making them more street-ready by releasing the Nike Lunar Magista II Flyknit. For its latest release, the shoe will come in a “Cookies and Cream” color scheme with a little touch of Infrared.

While the first several pairs to release came with a combination of Flyknit and leather, this release will come constructed in a full Flyknit upper. The entire upper is done in White with Black detailing on the Nike Swoosh logos, speckled Lunar sole and heel. Speaking of the heel, Nike slaps their “NIKE F.C.” label dressed in Infrared for a nice added pop.

Nike Returns the Air Zoom Chalapuka in “Armory Navy” and “Black/White”

The Nike Air Zoom Chalapuka resurrects an early 2000s classic by reframing the Talaria’s groundbreaking technology within the Chapuka’s legendary Alpha Project design. For its latest release, the shoe will be releasing in “Armory Navy” and “Black/White” color schemes.

The Chalapuka borrows the Talaria’s visible ¾-length Nike Zoom Air unit, an innovation that debuted with the 1997 runner. The bold color combination reflects the mixing of two very different shoes.

First Look: OFF-WHITE x Vans Old Skool

Virgil Abloh has yet to officially release his upcoming OFF-WHITE x Nike/Jordan 10X Collection that’s highlighted by the Air Jordan 1, Nike Air VaporMax and the Air Max 90. But in the meantime, it looks like he’s been busy because we get a first look at an upcoming OFF-WHITE Vans Old Skool collaboration scheduled to release in 2018.

Some of the details to this Vans Old Skool model includes a White leather upper with “Black Canvas” written on the sides atop a Black vulcanized midsole and outsole featuring the brand’s arrow logo. A nod to the Vans Happy Daze model is referenced on the toecap and heel.

A Closer Look at the Air Jordan 6 Pinnacle “Flight Jacket”

The Air Jordan 6 Flight Jacket is an Air Jordan 6 Pinnacle release that appears to be inspired by Michael Jordan’s 1991 appearance on Saturday Night Live (SNL). During his monologue, Jordan came out wearing a quilted bomber jacket dressed in Olive Green. As a nod to MJ’s first appearance on SNL, Jordan Brand will be releasing a very limited Air Jordan 6.

This Air Jordan 6 comes constructed in quilted, nylon that also offers water resistance. The quilted pattern appears on the sides that adds for a nice premium touch. An Olive Green midsole, Black detailing throughout and an icy outsole completes the design. A matching bomber jacket like the one MJ wore on SNL will also be included.

Pigalle x NikeLab Air Shake NDestrukt Pack

Pigalle founder Stéphane Ashpool is a big fan of Nike Basketball, which was the reasoning why he designed this special edition Pigalle x NikeLab Air Shake NDestrukt Pack. The two iterations of the Air Shake NDestrukt comes dressed in Blue and Pink color tones.

These Nike Air Shake Ndestrukt releases features a woven carpet-like material on its asymmetrical lacing system with its iconic oversized Nike Swoosh overlay. Both Pigalle’s and Nike logos on the heels replace the traditional “Worm” logo, while sitting atop a translucent outsole. Each pair also comes in special packaging that includes a co-branded dust bag.

In addition to the Nike Air Shake NDestrukt iterations, Pigalle and Nike are also set to release Benassi Duo slides in matching colorways.
