Nike Adapt Huarache Release Date Pricing

Following the launch of the Nike Adapt BB basketball sneaker, the next silhouette to feature the auto-lacing technology will be the Nike Air Huarache called, the Adapt Huarache.

The latest iteration of FitAdapt allows for a wider array of personal preferences amid various environments and situations — a key revolution given the multi-purpose nature of contemporary lifestyle footwear.

The aesthetic of the Nike Adapt Huarache takes loose inspiration from its namesake. Branding is minimal and aquatic odes (the original neoprene bootie was derived from a water ski) define both colorways and the articulation of the new shoe’s outer shroud.

Above this layer sits exposed elements of the Nike FitAdapt lacing system. The technology, which is run from a midfoot motor, is controlled by a multi-faceted Nike Adapt app. With the app, wearers of the Nike Adapt Huarache are greeted by a universal login (consistent for all Nike FitAdapt product — current and future), a themed interface specific to the Huarache and a number of preset fit recommendations for foot type and activity. The functionality of the app can also be driven by Apple Watch and Siri, two advances that support on-the-go shifts.

Larry Johnson’s Converse Aero Jam Returns With New Features

Originally released in 1993, the Converse Aero Jam was the signature sneaker for Larry Johnson, which was made famous in the classic “Grandmama” commercials.

Last retroed in 2014, the OG colorway is returning with a bit of a twist. Dressed in a mix of White, Black, Teal and Purple. Some of the key features to the original included a detachable lace cover and REACT juice cushioning.

On this retro model, you’ll notice the signature grade fade has been replaced with a paint splatter, while the heel comes in a slightly different build completed with EnergyWave tech in the forefoot.

Currently available at Converse Japan, you can expect a possible stateside release to come in the near future. Stay tuned for updates.

Nike continues to release new colorways of the Air Max 200, and the latest to surfaces comes dressed in a Red and Black makeup.

While taking cues from the Air Max 180, this futuristic silhouette also borrows key design elements from the Air Max 90. The shoe features a mesh upper with synthetic and Black nubuck overlays. Black continues on the Swoosh logos, midsole and rubber outsole to complete the design.
