The Nike Shox R4 “Fishnet” is set to join the Summer 2026 lineup with a black-and-white print covering most of the upper. It is a louder treatment than the model usually gets, though the familiar early-2000s shape and exposed heel cushioning remain unchanged.
The pattern runs from the toe through the side panels and wraps around the heel. Up close, it looks like a mix of netting and warped motion lines. Black laces, a matching tongue, and dark lining give the print some room and keep the upper from looking overloaded.
University Red shows up in smaller hits across the shoe, including the forefoot Swoosh, tongue branding, heel details, and the support plate above the Shox columns. The columns themselves are finished in black, along with the outsole.
Nike has continued to reissue the Shox R4 in retro releases, fashion-forward projects and sport-inspired colourways. This iteration departs from the sportswear concepts and archive nods, instead placing emphasis on the full graphic.
The Nike Shox R4 “Fishnet” is scheduled to release during Summer 2026. Pairs will be available through Nike.com and select retailers.
