Nike Ja 3 “Garden” Extends The Signature Shoe’s Final Run

Published on

Ja Morant brought a bright green player-exclusive sneaker to Madison Square Garden last season, and a slightly altered version has now made its way to retail. The Nike Ja 3 “Garden” carries over most of the look from the pair originally known as “Welcome to the Garden.”

Morant debuted the PE against the New York Knicks, where the design featured a leaf on the lateral midsole inspired by the NYC Parks Department logo. That graphic was left off the retail edition, but the Malachite green color scheme remains the main attraction.

Green covers nearly the entire upper, joined by a white Swoosh and oversized “A” branding along the side. Black Ja logos repeat across the textured material, breaking up the bright base without changing the shoe’s overall look. White paint from the “A” also reaches onto the surrounding TPU, creating a less precise finish than earlier Ja 3 releases. Blue insoles with pink branding add a completely different color combination inside.

The release comes after Morant suggested the Ja 3 “Team Bank” collection would close the book on his third signature model. Instead, the “Garden” and “White Label” colorways have given the shoe a longer sendoff before the Ja 4 takes over.

Nike has already started introducing the Ja 4 following a launch event in Las Vegas, with Morant’s next signature model expected to arrive in August 2026. The Nike Ja 3 “Garden” is available now for $135 via Nike.com.
