Giannis Antetokounmpo is getting another Halloween sneaker this year, with the Nike Giannis Freak 8 joining the brand’s growing collection for October 2026. It continues a run that started with the Freak 6 and carried over to last year’s Freak 7, though this pair moves away from the more familiar orange-heavy look usually tied to the holiday.

The Freak 8 comes dressed in Gorge Green, Metallic Gold, Hyper Grape, Lucky Green, Light Lemon Twist, and Black. Green takes up most of the shoe, covering the upper and working its way through the sculpted sole design. Repeated “GA” logos are worked into the upper, while purple laces bring another color into the mix without taking over the design.

Each of Giannis’ recent Halloween releases has gone in a different direction. The Freak 6 leaned into traditional seasonal colors, while the Freak 7 used a “Warewolf” theme. For the Freak 8, the different shades of green give the shoe more of a reanimated monster feel, with the molded shapes around the sole fitting naturally with the look.

Giannis is also part of a much bigger Nike Basketball Halloween lineup for 2026. LeBron James, Devin Booker, Ja Morant, Kevin Durant, Caitlin Clark, and Sabrina Ionescu all have Halloween-themed signature shoes expected this season.
