Devin Booker’s Nike Book 2 is getting another Halloween release this October, and this one pulls from Oogie Boogie, the main villain from The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Booker already went down this road with the Book 1 in 2024, when Nike released both “Halloween” and The Nightmare Before Christmas-inspired colorways. The Book 2 keeps that theme going, but the inspiration is a lot more specific this time around.

Most of the shoe comes in an off-white shade that lines up with Oogie Boogie’s burlap look. Black shows up on the laces and oversized Swooshes, while stitched details run around the toe and heel. Those marks do most of the work here, making the connection pretty clear without covering the shoe in graphics.

A few green hits appear on the tongue branding, which also fits the character. The upper itself has a rough, almost sack-like feel in spots, another detail that helps push the Oogie Boogie idea further.

Nike is carrying the theme into the extras as well. Each pair is expected to come with a Devin Booker mask featuring stitched facial details and an orange Nike headband. “Chapter Two” branding also runs vertically down the heel pull tabs.

Glow-in-the-dark details are expected too, although early photos do not show exactly how much of the shoe lights up. That should become clearer once more official images surface.

Nike Book 2 Halloween Release Date

The Nike Book 2 Halloween “Oogie Boogie” is expected to release October 30, 2026 as part of Nike Basketball’s Halloween lineup. The pair will be available in men’s sizing through Nike and select retailers for $155.
