In 1985, Nike introduced the “Be True To Your School” campaign, which gave rise to varsity-style color blocks and the debut of Nike basketball shoes for teams. Nearly four decades later, Nike is revisiting this iconic collection with a fresh focus on celebrating female athletes. Welcome Spring 2024 and the “Be True To Her School” series.

This iteration of the Nike Air More Uptempo boasts a sleek color palette: Black, White, and University Gold. Crafted from high-quality leather, these sneakers offer breathability through strategically placed perforations and feature comfortable mesh tongues. The shoe’s foundation is a stylish Black, complemented by bold University Gold “AIR” lettering highlighted by a crisp White outline. Inside, you’ll find a subtle nod to the “Be True To Her School” series on the insoles. The design is rounded off with a solid White rubber sole, sporting University Gold Air Max units and a discreet, oversized Swoosh underneath.
