Nike is bringing the Vapor X Posite back in 2026, a rare return for one of the brand’s more unusual cross-sport sneakers.

Built around a mix of Foamposite and tennis DNA, the model pairs a molded Posite-style upper with the lower, quicker setup of the Nike Vapor X. It is the kind of hybrid Nike has played with before, but this one always felt especially odd because of how strongly it pulled from the Air Foamposite One.

The first run came and went without much noise. Even the debut “Royal” colorway, which had an obvious connection to Foamposite history, never received a proper Nike.com push. Pairs instead ended up at outlets and off-price stores, turning the Vapor X Posite into one of those shoes collectors mostly found after the fact.

The “Copper” colorway revives one of the series’ most recognizable metallic treatments. “Metallic Orange,” on the other hand, offers a bolder finish on the molded upper without deviating from the shoe’s original concept.

The Nike Vapor X Posite “Copper” and Nike Vapor X Posite “Metallic Orange” are expected to release in August 2026 for $170 USD each.
