Christian Tresser’s iconic Air Max 97 is a 26-year-old design that is still one of the most popular Air Max models in rotation. For its latest release, Nike Sportswear is getting ready to launch this upcoming Nike Air Max 97 “Picante Red” colorway.

Dressed in a Picante Red, Guava Ice, and White color scheme. This offering of the Nike Air Max 97 comes constructed in a full mesh build with leather overlays. It features a White upper with Guava Ice detailing used on the wavy lines inspired by Japanese bullet trains. Highlighting the shoe are Picante Red contrasting accents on the tongues, insole and heel tab branding, mudguards, and underfoot. 3M reflective detailing atop a solid White rubber sole with full-length Air cushioning completes the design.
