Nike By You has come a long way from the early Nike ID days, when designing a personal colorway still felt like something only a small number of models received. The customization program is now a regular part of Nike’s footwear lineup, and the Sabrina 4 is the latest basketball shoe to be added to the builder.

The Nike Sabrina 4 By You gives buyers control over 10 separate sections of Sabrina Ionescu’s newest signature model. Color choices are available across the toe box, tongue, sockliner, side-panel base, Swoosh, midsole, Flyplate, and tongue logo, allowing nearly every major part of the shoe to be changed. The amount of control goes well beyond choosing one upper color and matching it with a different outsole.

Several areas also include finish and texture options that make the builder more detailed than a standard color palette. The Swoosh can be customized with glossy, metallic, or iridescent treatments, while the outsole can be finished with gradient or glow-in-the-dark effects. Flat colors are still available for the main upper panels, making it possible to keep the design simple or mix in some of the more noticeable finishes.

Personal text can also be added to both the tongue and heel. Nike has included a group of premade templates in the builder as well, giving buyers a place to start before changing individual sections or creating an entirely different colorway.
