Nike Sportswear celebrated Air Max Day 2023 by bringing back the popular “Big Bubble” Air Max 1 that was part of the original production run in 1986, before the Air Max 1 made its debut in 1987. Going forward, the Swoosh will be releasing a brand new Air Max 1 ’86 lineup which already includes the “Smokey Mauve” colorway, and now this upcoming “Light Armory Blue” makeup.

Dressed in a Football Grey, Dark Obsidian, Light Armory Blue, and Medium Soft Pink color scheme. This offering of the Nike Air Max 1 features a Football Grey mesh base with Light Armory Blue suede overlays and Dark Obsidian Swooshes and mudguards. Signature “Nike” branding on the tongue labels, insoles, and heel embroidery atop White midsole with the longer visible Air unit in the heel atop an Obsidian rubber outsole completes the design.

Check out the official photos below, and look for the Nike Air Max 1 ’86 “Light Armory Blue” to release in the coming months at select Nike Sportswear retailers and Nike.com. The retail price tag is set at $150 USD.
