New Balance adds another muted option to its Made in England lineup with the 991v2 “Wind Chime”, built around soft beige suede, white mesh, and darker grey trim.

Wind Chime suede covers the mudguard, eyestays, collar, and heel. Brilliant White mesh runs through the toe box, tongue, and side panels, while Flint Grey lands on the reflective “N” logos, lace eyelets, tongue label, heel overlay, and padded rear tab.

The usual 991v2 details are still here, including the oval 991 badge near the lateral heel and V2 embroidery across the back. Light grey lining keeps the interior in line with the rest of the colorway.

A two-tone sole unit gives the shoe a little more separation, with an off-white forefoot shifting into Flint Grey at the heel. FuelCell and ABZORB cushioning sit below, joined by mauve-tinted ABZORB SBS pods at the forefoot and heel. A grey rubber outsole finishes the pair.

The New Balance 991v2 “Wind Chime” will be available on August 1, 2026 at NewBalance.com and select retail outlets for $270.
