NAKED Copenhagen has reworked the adidas Adizero EVO SL with a zippered cover, reflective panels, and a muted mix of pale pink, silver, and cream. The NAKED x adidas Adizero EVO SL Zip releases July 15th through adidas.com and select retailers.
The zipper runs down the middle of the shoe, covering the standard lacing system rather than replacing it. That gives the upper a more finished look, though the fit can still be adjusted underneath.
Blush-pink ripstop-style material forms the base, with wide silver sections crossing the forefoot and wrapping along the sides. The metallic finish appears reflective, and small perforations are worked into the upper for ventilation. NAKED Copenhagen branding sits near the lateral collar and appears again on the insoles. adidas logos finish the tongue and heel.
On the ground, the EVO SL retains much of what you know. Placed underfoot is a bulky cream Lightstrike Pro midsole that retains the model’s molded shape, accented by silver trimming through the sidewalls. Continental rubber is used up top, while translucent rubber accents the heel.
Most of the changes happen up top, and that works in the shoe’s favor. The zip cover and reflective detailing give the EVO SL a sharper, more fashion-driven look without losing the lightweight running shape that made the model popular in the first place.
The NAKED x adidas Adizero EVO SL Zip will be available July 15th at adidas.com and select adidas retailers.
