Liberaiders and UNIK are giving the New Balance 2010 a sharp new look with a release centered on friendship and shared design language. Their three-way project, officially titled “Walk Together, Bonded by True Friendship,” keeps things understated while still bringing enough contrast and texture to stand out.

Grey leads the upper with a mesh base and layered suede overlays, but the material mix gives the shoe more personality than a standard neutral runner. Smooth suede lands across the quarter, while hairy suede at the toe adds another layer of depth. Blue underlays help penetrate the faded undertones and packs the biggest punch of color on the sneaker, while accents of purple branding on the tongue and heel offer a gentler contrast.

On the foot, the New Balance 2010 appears grounded with an ABZORB cushioned system, beige midsole and black outsole completed with blue trim. Overall, it feels like a shoe that’s comfortable to wear but premium enough to stand out from what’s becoming an onslaught of 2010 releases.

The Liberaiders x UNIK x New Balance 2010 “Walk Together, Bonded By True Friendship” will release through an atmos Japan raffle on April 21, 2026, priced at ¥25,960 (approximately $160 USD). The raffle window remains open through the morning of April 21 in Japan, while additional launches are also expected through Liberaiders and UNIK.
