While the Nike KD 7 still has a few more releases, we are only a few more months away from Nike Basketball officially debuting the Nike KD 8.

Here’s how Kevin Durant answered the question asked by Sneaker Reporter below:

SR: Anymore KD7′s we should be looking forward too right now?

KD: Honestly you should be wondering about the KD8 because thats going to change the game of sneakers. Its low top like the KD7 and has a sock like material that goes all the way up the leg. The KD8 should be dropping in July of 2015 around 4th of July time. Nike hasn’t sent me the images yet I’m still waiting on them. – (keep in mind that this interview took place towards the end of 2014, so it is pretty certain KD has already seen his KD8 shoe).

Earlier today, Kevin Durant shared a photo of one of his recovery sneakers that he is required to wear, which he teased these are the KD8’s.

Can't wait for the 8s to drop!!
