Kanye West, also known as Ye, has once again captured public attention. Despite stirring controversy with recent statements on X, he launched a new line of Yeezy footwear. The Yeezy SL-02 and SL-03 were introduced through a low-budget Super Bowl commercial, which Ye claimed was shot on an iPhone. Interestingly, he mentioned spending his ad budget on new teeth.
The ad directed viewers to Yeezy.com, showcasing the all-black, minimalist Yeezy SL-02 and SL-03 models. These designs follow the SL-01 slides, embracing simplicity with sleek silhouettes. Ye even sported the SL-03 boots at the Grammys alongside Bianca Censori, adding to the buzz around the release.
However, controversy didn’t end with the Super Bowl ad. Shortly after the commercial aired, Yeezy.com removed most of its products, leaving only a highly controversial t-shirt. Additionally, Ye’s X account was deactivated, fueling further discussions online.
Despite the surrounding controversies, the Yeezy SL-02 and SL-03 highlight Ye’s continued influence in the fashion world. Their unique, understated designs reflect his bold approach to both style and marketing.
