UPDATE: A$AP Rocky and UA have confirmed that this is not an official collaboration. The footwear featured is an update to the Forge franchise that launched in FW17 from UAS. There is more to follow from this lifestyle sneaker silhouette that will drop in SS18.
Back in September 2017, A$AP Rocky and Under Armour officially announced their partnership. Today, we get a first look at what the both have been cooking up, an all-new Under Armour lifestyle shoe.
While the official name of the shoe is unknown, it comes in a Beige and Grey upper with hits of Red, Blue and Black contrasting accents on the toe cap, inner liner and heel.
No official word on when the A$AP Rocky x Under Armour shoe will release, but you can check out his official statement below. Stay tuned to Sneaker Bar for more updates as they develop.
“I wanted more than a collaboration partner. The only way to achieve this is with someone who is like-minded. The Under Armour team, and especially CEO and Founder Kevin Plank, has a shared vision, enthusiasm, and desire to do the same. I now have the ability to create a better situation for today’s kids so they can go from school to a safe place to create without boundaries. Under Armour was the company that was most excited about my idea to turn sportswear products on their head while bettering kids’ lives.”
