The adidas Samba “Lace & Pearls” keeps the shoe’s familiar low profile, then softens it with cream leather, brown suede, lace trim, and a removable pearl bow. The gum sole is still there, along with the shape that has carried the Samba from indoor courts into everyday rotation.
Cream leather fills most of the upper, with brown suede layered over the T-toe, eyestays, Three Stripes, and heel tab. The colors are quiet and easy to wear. Most of the attention falls on the smaller details instead.
Lace trim extends beneath the eyestays, with the pearl bow resting across the laces like an afterthought rather than a fixed component of the shoe itself. Said bow can be removed if players wanted a more classic look. Gold “Samba” writing adorns the lateral side of the shoe, as metallic adidas branding lands on the tongue.
adidas has already pushed the Samba through platform soles, pony hair, premium collaborations, and a long run of seasonal colorways. This one does not change the formula much. It dresses it up, but leaves the basic construction alone.
The adidas Samba “Lace & Pearls” is due to release in Summer 2026 through adidas.com and select adidas retailers. No exact date or retail price has been announced.
