Adidas Basketball is bringing back the legendary Jabbar – OG Royal Blue, available in both Hi and Low styles. First released in 1978, this sneaker line made history by being the first basketball shoe to feature an athlete’s face. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s influence on and off the court is honored in this 2024 relaunch.

The new edition stays true to the original design, using premium materials to celebrate Jabbar’s legacy. The shoe boasts a smooth leather tongue and upper, paired with a suede toe cap that adds texture. Its soft leather collar and lining ensure comfort, while the cream white midsole creates a perfect retro-modern look.

The Jabbar – OG Royal Blue Hi is priced at $110, and the Low version will retail for $100. Fans can grab these sneakers starting October 18, 2024, at 10 AM EST / 7 AM PST. They will be available on adidas.com, select adidas stores, and other participating retailers.
