Simone Rocha and adidas Originals are bringing their first footwear collection to retail after showing the project during London Fashion Week earlier this year. The lineup covers five pairs across the Japan, Taekwondo Ballerina, and Climacool, with pearls, ribbons, lace, and jeweled details worked into each model.

The adidas Japan gets turned into a backless slip-on with pony-hair uppers and pearls running along the Three Stripes. Oversized ribbon laces add another noticeable change, while decorated tongues and pink insoles finish the design. Both tan and black versions are part of the collection.

Two Taekwondo Ballerina colorways take a similar approach, using pleated toes and ribbon laces that run across the foot in place of a traditional tongue. Clear gems are arranged into flowers and Trefoil logos near the toe, with pink insoles underneath. One pair comes in light pink and red, while the other mixes black with red.

Rocha also gives the Climacool a much different look from its usual technical build. Leather covers more of the upper, with lace mesh through the midfoot keeping some of the model’s breathable construction intact. Ribbon lacing replaces the tongue, and three jeweled Trefoils appear around the heel.

The Simone Rocha x adidas Originals collection brings the designer’s familiar ballet and jewelry references to three very different adidas silhouettes without making them all look the same. The five-pair collection is available now exclusively through the adidas Confirmed App.
