adidas Energy Boost Icon Cleat “July 4th”

To celebrate the 4th of July, adidas today unveils a patriotic colorway for its game-changing, Energy Boost Icon cleat. The all-American cleat features three red, white and blue stripes and a reflective red to blue fade electroplated outsole plate. Several MLB players, including Atlanta’s BJ and Justin Upton, Oakland’s Coco Crisp and Philadelphia’s Chase Utley, will debut the cleats Friday on the baseball diamond.

The first adidas non-running shoe to feature Boost, this new cleat brings endless energy and acceleration to the field when it matters most. Designed for the best athlete on the diamond – the five tool player – the adidas Energy Boost baseball cleat features shockvent windows for maximum ventilation and an external heel clip for peak stability.
