In April 2024, Kobe Bryant’s second signature shoe with adidas, once known as the KB8 2, made a comeback in its “Away” colorway. Now, the adidas Crazy 98 is set to return in June 2024 with the “Lakers Home” colorway. Kobe Bryant started his partnership with adidas Basketball in 1996 after joining the NBA. He released many popular signature shoes until 2002. Afterward, he signed with Nike in 2003 and continued to release iconic basketball shoes.

The upper part of the Crazy 98 “Lakers Home” features white mesh construction. It includes tonal synthetic leather overlays, highlighted with grey piping. The shoe also has purple accents on the adidas tongue tag, the Three Stripes logo, the lateral midfoot, and the durable rubber outsole. The sneaker is supported by an injected EVA midsole and Adiprene cushioning. This combination ensures both style and comfort.

The adidas Crazy 98 “Lakers Home” will be available on June 1, 2024. You can find it at select adidas Basketball retailers in-store, online, and on adidas.com. The shoe will be available in men’s sizing. The retail price is set at $150 USD.

This release continues to honor Kobe Bryant’s legacy in basketball footwear. The blend of nostalgic design and modern technology makes it a must-have. With its Lakers-inspired colors, it appeals to both fans of Kobe and sneaker enthusiasts. Don’t miss out on adding this iconic piece to your collection.
