The black-and-white look of the “Dr. Doom” Foamposite is making its way onto football cleats with the Nike Vaporposite Pro “Doctor Doom.” Due in November, the pair arrives ahead of the Air Foamposite Pro retro, bringing the same color combination to two very different settings.
Black covers the sculpted upper, with a large white Swoosh standing out along the side. That familiar shape carries much of the Foamposite connection, though the construction is built for football. An internal chassis adds flexible support underfoot, while widely spaced studs provide traction for cuts and changes of direction.
The colorway dates back to 2006, when the original Foamposite Pro released alongside an unofficial Fantastic Four-inspired collection that included the Air Force 1 “Invisible Woman.” Twenty years later, the returning retro and this Vaporposite version put the simple black-and-white design back in the lineup.
The Nike Vaporposite Pro “Doctor Doom” releases November 1, 2026, with Hibbett listing a retail price of $210. The pair is also expected through Nike.com and select retailers.
