Few places have embraced the Air Max 95 quite like Liverpool. The sneaker has been part of the city’s style for decades, where many still know it simply as the “110,” a nickname that came from its original £110 price in the UK. That history is now being worked into a new Big Bubble colorway made specifically around Liverpool.

The Nike Air Max 95 Big Bubble “Liverpool” doesn’t use the same gradient on both sides. Light grey runs through the layered panels on the lateral side, while the medial side gets much darker with black and charcoal grey. White fills in other parts of the upper, and small hits of teal and orange show up around the lace loops and tongue.

Details tied to Liverpool are spread across the shoe. One tongue features Liverpool branding, “Scouse” is worked into the outsole, and “LPL” appears at the heel underneath the Nike logo. The orange and teal touches also connect back to the city, with references to its brickwork and the Liver Bird.
