The Nike PG 1 “Elements” is coming back for the first time since 2017, bringing one of the earlier colorways from Paul George’s signature line back into the mix. Its Medium Olive and orange colors might look like they came from a military flight jacket, but fishing was actually the inspiration behind the original design.

Medium Olive takes up most of the upper, covering the mesh around the forefoot along with the hairy suede used on the side panels. Team Orange shows up on the tongue branding and Flywire cables that feed into the forefoot strap. A white midsole breaks up the darker upper and gets a layer of black paint splatter across the surface.

Performance-wise, the PG 1 comes back with the same setup as the original. Zoom Air sits under the forefoot, with Phylon foam used through the heel. Basketball shoes have changed quite a bit since this pair first arrived, but the PG 1 keeps things fairly simple underfoot compared to many of today’s models.

The Nike PG 1 “Elements” is expected to release soon as an Asia-exclusive. An exact release date has yet to be announced.
