Nike has recently reissued one of their oldest running collections with the Nike Moon Shoe OG “Sail.”

Constructed primarily of off-white material, the upper does most of the heavy lifting to give this shoe a vintage Nike runner vibe without over-complicating the design around it. Grey-tinted details at the toe box and heel stack define the silhouette’s shape just enough, but allows the overall aesthetic to remain true to the sneakers no-frills origin.

Strategically placed black coloring provides contrast where the colorway needs it: on the Swoosh, outsole, branded tongue, and shoe insoles. It allows the Sail base to maintain some bite while keeping attention where it belongs: on the OG Moon Shoes simplistic construction.

Of course the waffle-patterned traction design is the largest historical callback to Nike’s original performance-minded footwear. This iteration wisely leaves that narrative intact instead of overworking it.

Expected to drop Fall 2026 for $105 USD in women’s sizing, the Nike Moon Shoe OG “Sail” doesn’t attempt to reshape itself. Grab pairs through Nike.com and select retailers.
