Zack Bia, whose real name is Zack Bialobos, initially rose to prominence in the Los Angeles nightlife scene in the late 2010s as a party promoter and DJ. For 2023, the young DJ has teamed up with Nike to create his own Air Max Pulse collaboration, a shoe that debuted during this year’s Air Max Day celebration. The silhouette got its inspiration from the London music scene, which is why this collaboration makes sense.

Inspired by the CDJ turntable, this offering of the Zack Bia x Nike Air Max Pulse features an all-Black base constructed in a mix of leather and mesh materials. Other details includes Metallic Silver detailing, Red contrasting accents with “CH1” and “CH2” on the heels and “FTR” embroidery nodding to Bia’s “Field Trip Records” label. The shoe also features a zipped shroud with special “Air Max ZB” logo printed on the tongues. A solid Black rubber sole with a pause/play button printed in White near the forefoot completes the design. The shoe also comes housed in special packaging.
