The AlphaFly 4 is next up for Nike’s marathon racing line, with the new model set to arrive in 2026. A lot of what worked on the AlphaFly 3 carries over, including the Air Zoom units and carbon-fiber Flyplate, while changes to the foam and underfoot layout separate the two versions.

The Air Zoom units have been moved slightly forward, with larger cutouts surrounding them through the midsole. Nike also trimmed some of the foam used on the previous model, which should bring the weight down without drastically changing the shape runners are already familiar with.

ZoomX remains part of the cushioning, though the AlphaFly 4 adds ZoomX LT to the mix. Up top, Atomknit returns for the lightweight upper, while the Flyplate continues through the midsole. Most of the changes are relatively small compared to the jump between some earlier AlphaFly models, with the basic geometry of the AlphaFly 3 carrying over.
