Li-Ning has plans to end the Way of Wade 5 season with their last colorway, the Way of Wade 5 Black Sand. This release represents the remnants of magnetic sand particles welcoming the metaphor for balance and becoming solely grounded to the earth’s surface.

The juxtaposition of the Tan and Black tones play off a sandy beaches waves washing up the sand grains, leaving the placer deposits upon the shore. The upper construction represents the WoW5 “Mesh Version” which is a unique layering of textiles and reflective materials to create a seamlessly modern new textile material package. The external upper pattern straps and heel counter are reinforced strong from the backside and made of highly-reflective materials. The internal bootie and tongue feature an updated comfort-focused construction as well. The sole uses a semi-clear White rubber throughout with a Tan popped pivot point. The sole is supported with an internal carbon fiber midfoot shank which uses a classic Black weave on this colorway. The sole intuitively cradles the upper using a newly designed dual-duometer TPU clip system, maximizing ideal lateral support and heel stability on-court.
