Converse and musical artist Vince Staples are teaming up once again to release a special rendition of the classic Thunderbolt Ox.

This retro sneaker features a silky Egret and White knitted upper paired with Grey accents on the symmetrical outline. Other details includes branding at the tongue and back heel to complete the design.

Look for the Vince Staples x Converse Thunderbolt to release on December 18th at select retailers such as Feature and Solebox. The retail price tag is set at $100 USD.

On the Thunderbolt, natural, transparent colors and textures are juxtaposed with contrast stitching, high gloss/reflective accents and a graphical language representative of modern Californian aesthetics. This graphic language is most prominent in the collection’s “RUN” graphic, crafted in an archived ‘80s style font and 3D printed onto the heel of the sneaker.
