It’s as if every time Fragment teams up with Air Jordan, the details leak out before anything’s official, yet they still manage to keep things just mysterious enough to reignite the buzz. This newly surfaced Travis Scott x Fragment x Air Jordan 1 Low sample is no different.
The pair pulls from the familiar “Royal” side of the Air Jordan 1 family, using black leather across the upper with bright blue hits on the toe box, Swoosh, heel, and outsole. A white reverse Swoosh lands on the lateral side, keeping Travis Scott’s signature detail in place, while Fragment’s influence shows through the blue-and-white heel setup and stamped midsole text.
Compared to some of the darker samples that have surfaced recently, this version feels closer to a classic Jordan color blocking formula. The black base gives the shoe a sharper look, while the blue accents keep it connected to Fragment’s usual design language. An aged midsole adds the vintage feel that continues to show up across Travis Scott’s Jordan releases.

The heel details are where the sample starts to separate itself. One shoe features Fragment-style branding, while the other includes Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack markings. Small printed text along the midsole reads “FA27,” which has led to early speculation about a possible Fall 2027 timeline, though nothing has been confirmed by Jordan Brand, Travis Scott, or Fragment Design.
Hiroshi Fujiwara previously teased another navy-toned Travis Scott x Fragment x Air Jordan 1 Low, and a similar pair was also seen in Fragment #3 magazine. This black, royal, and white version now adds another sample into the mix, suggesting there may be several ideas being tested before any final retail pair is locked in.
For now, the Travis Scott x Fragment x Air Jordan 1 Low “Black Royal” is only an early sample. No release date or launch details have been announced, so this should be treated as a first look rather than a confirmed 2027 release.
