The SoleFly x Air Jordan 5 is getting closer to release, with Jordan Brand now giving the collaboration a clearer look ahead of its expected October arrival. The Miami retailer keeps the color palette mostly dark, using Black and Anthracite across the upper with Aurora Green worked into smaller details like the tongue branding and parts of the midsole.

A second SoleFly x Air Jordan 5 has also surfaced through Jordan Brand’s new 232323232323 platform, giving the collaboration another look beyond the darker pair. This version flips the color story with a mostly white-and-black setup, keeping the familiar Air Jordan 5 shape but giving the project a much cleaner and more stripped-back feel.

Underfoot, the translucent outsole comes with a Muslin tint that gives it a slightly aged look without changing the overall feel of the shoe too much. The bigger change is found around the lacing setup, where the laces can extend around the ankle before coming back toward the front. The Air Jordan 5 shape is still easy to recognize, but that wraparound look gives the upper more of a boxing shoe feel.

That boxing influence also shows up in the way Jordan Brand presented the pair in its latest lookbook. The shoe appeared alongside matching apparel, the Social Status x Air Jordan 1 Low OG, and other upcoming Jordan releases. There has been no confirmation of any major structural change to the model, so for now the different lacing system appears to be the main update.

SoleFly and Jordan Brand have continued to work together on a regular basis, with this pair following their Air Jordan 3 collaboration from last year. Another SoleFly project, believed to be an Air Jordan 4, has also been linked to 2027.

SoleFly Air Jordan 5 Release Date

The SoleFly x Air Jordan 5 is expected to release during Holiday 2026, with current reports pointing to an October launch. Retail is expected to be $225.
