Following the A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 3, another Whitaker Group retailer, Social Status, reveals that they’ll be releasing an exclusive colorway of the Nike Waffle One limited to only 500 pairs.

This special edition offering of the Nike Waffle One features a Red dyes on its mesh upper, synthetic underlays, and laces, along with Light Grey suede covering the overlays on the mudguard, eyelets, and heel. Other details include a Dark Grey translucency heel counter, Black Swoosh atop an aged-colored midsole for a vintage look and Black waffle rubber outsole. The shoe comes with special tissue paper featuring comic book-like graphics.

Look for the The Whitaker Group x Nike Waffle One “The Bill” to release on February 26th exclusively at Social Status. The retail price tag is set at $120 USD.

UPDATE 2/19: Designed by Frank Cooker, the Social Status x Nike Waffle One Whitaker Group exclusive is inspired by one of his favorite footwear stories of innovation and resourcefulness. Dubbed “The Bill” this narrative comes to life through the colorway and materials paying homage to Bill Bowerman’s genius thought of pouring rubber into his wife’s waffle iron. Years later, taking that risk paid off resulting in the Nike Waffle Racing Flat ‘Moon Shoe’.

This colorway features an aged, vintage midsole and Sail underlay paired with a tonal heel clip and sublimated laces for a complete rust look and aesthetic. ⁠⁠
