New Orleans retailer Sneaker Politics and Cafe du Monde have teamed up with Saucony to release a special edition Shadow 5000 inspired by NOLA’s famous beignets.
Cafe du Monde is the world’s most famous coffee shop and a New Orleans institution known for its café au lait and beignets.
This collaborative Saucony Shadow 5000 comes constructed in a mix of suede, leather, and mesh detailed with White flecks covering its Brown-colored upper as a nod to the powdered sugar used on each dessert. Co-branded tongue tags atop a Green rubber outsole that represents the colors of Du Monde’s patio overhang completes the design.
