A wasp and the tarantula it hunts are behind the AFEW x Saucony ProGrid Omni 9 “Tara Hawk,” with details from both worked into the shoe. The German retailer uses iridescent blue panels to reference the insect’s metallic body, then adds black pony hair for the spider.

Translucent TPU and synthetic overlays wrap the quarter and heel, with red, orange, and yellow mesh showing through underneath. An orange midfoot plate matches those warmer shades. Up top, the hairy tongue and collar replace that glossy finish with a texture tied to the tarantula.

The AFEW x Saucony ProGrid Omni 9 “Tara Hawk” will be available through an AFEW website raffle on November 7, 2026. The pair is priced at €185, or roughly $215 before shipping.
