It was today, April 16th, 2003 when Michael Jordan officially played his last NBA game and said good bye for good at age 40. Allen Iverson and the Philadelphia 76ers hosted the Washington Wizards on this memorable night, which before the game MJ was introduced by the Bulls announcer Ray Clay, and received a custom golf cart from Julius Erving and Moses Malone, both 76ers legends.

Michael Jordan didn’t walk away from the game with a win, but he did record 15 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assist in 28 minutes, walking away at the end of the 4th quarter with a standing ovation.
