Salehe Bembury is already moving ahead with the next version of his PUMA Velum, sharing an early look at the NITRO Velum 2 in two very different colorways. While the original model’s fingerprint-like sole pattern and accordion-shaped cushioning remain, nearly everything above the midsole has been reshaped.

A silver edition shows off the updated build most clearly. The upper combines layered, wave-shaped panels with a wide mesh section wrapping around the sides, giving the shoe a lighter and more technical appearance. Large lace loops, molded detailing, and the thick NITRO cushioning unit keep the design tied to the first Velum without making the sequel feel like a simple color update.

Bembury previewed a pink and red pair that uses the same construction with a much louder finish. Several shades run across the mesh, overlays, and sole, making the sculpted lines and unusual panel placement easier to see.

Only early images of the Salehe Bembury x PUMA NITRO Velum 2 have surfaced. A release date has yet to be announced.
