Rip Hamilton Retires From The NBA in a Sneakerhead Fashion

Rip Hamilton has officially announced his retirement from the NBA, but he did it in a sneakerhead fashion. Using the Air Jordan 2 “Don C” tied together around his neck, Rip took his announcement to ESPN’s His and Hers and said he is ready to hang up his retro Air Jordans and call it a career – that is unless LeBron and the Cavs call him up.

Let us know what you guys think of the way Rip went out by announcing his retirement from the NBA. Being a long-time sneakerhead and Jordan Brand athlete, would you have done something similar in your announcement?

Thank you for the great memories here in Detroit during the our Championship run.
