Tyrese Haliburton is bringing a little East High basketball nostalgia to the PUMA Hali 1 with a new Player Exclusive based on Troy Bolton from Disney’s High School Musical.
Indiana Fever guard Kelsey Mitchell recently debuted the red colorway on court before Haliburton offered a closer look at the design. The connection is easy to spot, as the shoe’s bold red finish draws from the East High Wildcats uniform Bolton wore throughout the movie series.

The clearest reference appears on the tongue, where Troy’s No. 14 is printed in white. Tonal mesh and molded panels make up the upper, while a large outlined PUMA Cat stretches around the heel. The sculpted midsole shifts from red into orange near the bottom, finishing with a milky translucent outsole.
Haliburton has used several of his Hali 1 PEs to highlight his interests and personality, and the Troy Bolton edition keeps that theme going. It also gives Mitchell another exclusive colorway connected to Indiana basketball.
For now, the PUMA Hali 1 “Troy Bolton” PE is not expected to receive a public release.
